Good luck man. I just retired today and did my meb through Tripler as well. I had 29 claims and about 45 when they put them separately and after my peb it took 3 weeks. So good luck man.

Finaled out today. Retirement Services tomorrow morning and I'm done. Feels weird not knowing what to do, I've worked since I was 14 and now have nothing to do. Feels good but at the same time I have this need to want to do something.. Hopefully I can chill for a while before the bug gets to me...

That's good, and atleast for your narsum consult with the meb lawyer, mine was pretty much spot on what I would receive from both PEB and VA. Let us know how the exams go.

Crazy how you have to constantly fight for yourself because to them it's just a machine. They don't care what you deserve or how the outcome ends up.

Just a tip, to change any appointments it's through the contracting company. You can call and tell them you prefer a female/male provider which ever you prefer. If a date doesn't work for you or you don't want tele health just ask if there's something in person. They are just scheduling first...

Ya I ended up having to go to Boston and made an appointment while I was there. It sped up the process by probably 4 months by me doing that.

SBP Appointment today. She also set up my retirement DFAS account and selected exempt from taxes.. Hell yeah!
