I don’t know if there is anything in writing that states they have to. However, you “should” have been setup with an initial meeting with your attorney after being entered into IDES. Then your NARSUM, NMA, and other documents “should” have been reviewed by your attorney prior to the package...

So your PEBLO didn’t CC your attorney on your completed package before having you sign it before sending it to the PEB??? This sounds like a failure!

That is pretty wild. Mine was accepted 28 Oct and it is currently sitting at the VA for final ratings. Perhaps some of the LOs are productive and others aren’t. I wish we knew the answer lol

If only it were that easy. There are BICs assigned for each position. In order to add more personnel then they would have to submit a TOKER. Unless they work on their own system, which I highly doubt.

The MO’s are back logged with MH cases. That’s why we are seeing later submissions come back and some July cases still pending. The LOs are pumping out simple physical cases.

Completely agree. The issue is that the line officers do not have the authority to decide on MH cases. In a normal world I’d like to think the MO’s could handle MH cases in a timely manner. Due to the backlog from the so called “pandemic”, they are swamped with those cases.

I have no proof, however, I’ve been told that cut and dry physical cases are being pushed through by the LO’s and anything mental health related has to go through the MO (which there are only two).

I don’t think you are understanding which portion of the VA I’m talking about. I’m referring to my nice you’re deemed unfit and they send the PEB package to the VA for a final rating on the referred condition that was unfitting.

Tracking. I was replying to someone that stated they haven’t seen anything from the VA yet.

My lawyer told me QA usually takes about a month. At this point I don’t really care. I’m just happy to be past the MO now lol

I was referring to the PEB package. You’re waiting on proposed ratings from the VA? My C&P exams were completed in Sept and my proposed ratings were done at the end of Jan. Everyone’s timeline is a little different, but you can use that timeline to gauge how long you have to get ratings.

You should be able to go into your BIR and see if it has been accepted. It will be under duty status where it shows if you’re on LimDu and such.

My timeline: Start IDES - 25 Aug 21 C&P exams complete - 24 Sep 21 Accepted by PEB - 28 Oct 21 VA proposed ratings - 20 Jan 22 Currently the package is at the VA. I’m thinking I could possibly get my findings by April but I’m not keeping my hopes up lol.

Anybody have a rough timeline of how long it takes to get findings once the package is sent to the VA?

JDETS has me at the VA now. Does that mean I’ll be found unfit?
