I did it but there's no way to tell if it helped. It was about 2 weeks from when the VA got my package to when it was sent back to the PEB

So I signed my findings on 02/03/2016 and selected my requested separation date as 03/15/2016. Does anybody have any idea how long it averages for the TDLR / Separation message to come from PERS? I searched and the posts are pretty old and not very clear.

I feel your bro, I know how it feels with a family and trying to plan. But I would say that when my development letter was sent out, the VA had just finished my ratings and sent them back to the PEB. My peblo was also able to give me the overall VA percentage. Hang in there man

The pers That is exactly what I was told. The PEB generates a code, sends it to PERS, who sends out a message with a batch of people on it. The person I'm working with at PSD told me he can generate the orders the same day the message comes out, and I'll have my dd214 in hand the next day.

Congrats man! I signed mine and chose 30 days. Peblo told me to expect 30-40 days though since it takes time to get orders. I hope it's faster

Its official, my findings came in today!!!! 50DOD/80VA TDLR. The PEB had them from 12/09/2015 from VA, and Findings came back today 02/02/2016. Looks like the dominos are starting to fall :) Good luck to everybody waiting and I hope it goes by fast.

My command said as soon as my orders come in, I can go on terminal. Looks like another 2-3 weeks to wait for orders.

I'm trying to get out ASAP once I get findings. Anybody have any insight on speeding the process along once we sign the findings? Besides choosing 30 days of course.

Congrats, the VA seems to be moving very fast. Hopefully the DoD will ramp up and you won't have to wait as long as some of us (2 months) to recieve findings post VA.

A marine that had his package come back from the VA on December 15, got his findings yesterday. Looks like they're starting to get findings out hopefully!

PEBLO called me today. She said that the board is fully staffed again following the blizzard, but she did talk to the PEB to see why packages are being help up post VA for QA. So...... she said that all of the packages that got held up originally during the "tech refresh", were pushed out...

I'd say around 2-3 weeks for the VA once they get it. Then another 2 months or so for the PEB to finalize everything and QA the package before you get your findings. That's how it seems to be going as of late.

Yah the timing isn't great for us, but I finally gave up on trying to speed things up. Does anything special happen of you go past 120 days?
