The Navy's and Army's separation process is much different. They army gives the 90 day as a norm, and the Navy is anywhere from 30-90 days, apparently from whatever you ask, which can still be altered based on operational needs at the current time.

I was found unfit DEC 17th and I still haven't had anything in ebenefits changed and still haven't heard anything. All my PEBLO knows is that my package is "at the VA"... whether it is at the beginning or final stages of being at the VA, who knows?! This process is definitely frustrating.

the problem with speed lies with the DOD and VA determinations. I had my exams done quickly, and it has just been mixed up in the process due to their EHR system update.

Everyone that started their claim when I did are getting their orders and mine seem stuck in LIMBO. I hope this is a good sign, although my ebenefits date of completion went from 3/25/2016 to July now. This is so frustrating.

All of our timelines are similar. Mine was UNFIT in December and sent to PEB, then was told the VA had my package for ratings on the 9th of FEB. So I am assuming the next two weeks will tell all.

What number did you call where they gave you more info? My package hit the VA on 8February and I havent heard anything else.

I just found out that my package got lost for 50 days and got received by the VA a couple days ago. So looks like its going to be close to a full 365 days for mine to be completed.

Its okay, I was found UNFIT on 17DEC, expecting ratings soon, and told that they just received my package yesterday, and that it got lost somewhere on the way to the VA. Things will work out the way they are supposed to.

I am at 49 days from finding out that I was UNFIT and still no ratings on mine.

I think speaking directly with them is fantastic, but remember, they only check a system. They dont lay eyes directly on your package and they dont update everything the way they should, so every update that you may get can be off. With that being said, they have 8 to 12 weeks to give ratings...

Honestly, ebenefits is a joke. For me it is completely inaccurate. It still has me as review of evidence even though my PEBLO told me 6 weeks ago I was found unfit and it was sent to VA. My completion date is set for 3/17/16 to 9/1/16, so who knows...this whole process seems like it isn't...

Agreed. The biggest thing my buddy told me was don't burn bridges if you have to turn something down, etc. I have had great offers I have had to turn down because I can't start immediately.
