ok so let me get this straight...my severence will not get recouped because it was in a combat zone and i will still get my monthly pay from the VA?

im ok with the 80% i was just under the impression that (and this is what my peblo told me) I get the severence for getting less than 30% from the DOD and i get 1500 a month from VA for the 80%

but i it is not stated anywhere in my paperwork about the morter round...just that i messed it up in iraq

well thats what my peblo told me...that it was in a combat zone...but not combat related...i mean i was running from a morter round when i messed up my ankle...but i dunno

not yet they havent even typed it yet...i thought what the dod gives you and what the va gives you were diff...i thought that the severance pay was from the army...and the 1500 was from the VA for disability....

well my base pay is 2305, so i guess 2X 2305 X5(years of service)? 23050?? then minus taxes...

ok so i got 80% VA and 10% DOD...how would my pay work out? also my injury happend in a combat zone...but was not combat related...

Im confused...i thought you got the (for example) 1500 a month for my 80% disabilty...plus the Severance check from the army because i was rated below 30% DOD side....am i wrong?
