TDRL Re-evaluation - Can it affect my CRSC?

My CRSC was recalculated off my VA reexamination, which lowered my Ptsd rating to 30% and not the DoD reevaluation rating of 70%. The exams were conducted within 14 days of each other. HRC sent me VA documents to justify the reduction, actually documents I had never seen before, so they have...

    Retire or MEB

The only benefit I can think of going through an MEB and getting over 50% for a medical retirement with CRDP is that your injuries appear to be combat related (injured due to falling ehile under fire in Iraq). If the MEB/PEB designates your referred conditions as combat related, you can get your...

    DOD TDRL Appeal Plantar Fasciitis

Just go talk to an attorney and see if there is anything you still can do. You may be too late for an IMR, but if you are just in the IPEB phase right now, you might still have a chance to get them added by requesting a formal PEB. If you do not have medical notes tying your low arches and scars...

    DOD TDRL Appeal Plantar Fasciitis

The office is Soldier Council attorney is free to use. I would go talk to one of the attorneys at a minimum. I had my pes cavus (high arch) and planter fasciitis be found unfitting by the IPEB. It was not on my NARSUM. I did file an IMR prior to the IPEB because that’s just something the IPEB...

    DOD TDRL Appeal Plantar Fasciitis

If your job involves being on your feet (like infantry or any ground job-mechanic, fueler, etc) I would have an attorney argue that the bilateral pes planus and painful scars around the surgical site were also unfitting because they also are directly related to you unfitting conditions. Since...

    DBQ Results, Need Help!

I understand how a DBQ can be way off. I had a VA psychiatrist contractor conduct a routine future exam for my PTSD and he basically ignored my medical notes from another psychiatrist that was from a week earlier. You can always call QTC (or who ever the contract company was) and complain to...

    TDRL ID vs PDRL ID

None that I can tell, just an updated expiration date. It's the exact same card as a regular retiree.

    TDRL ID vs PDRL ID

Yes, you do. Your status needs to be updated in DEERS to permanent retired and they will issue you a new ID valid for 25 years (at least mine is). You need to bring in your orders.

    Terminal Leave Calculation

I did not know that about the Army! Not that it matters anymore. But I got over on the Army for 45 days of leave when my child was born and the S1 couldn’t find my leave form when attempted to signed back in. The S1 clerk, who I always took care of, told me not to worry about it!

    Terminal Leave Calculation

If you are Army here is what DA PAM 635-40 says on page 11: (4) Soldier transition phase. The Soldier transition phase of the IDES includes processing the Soldier for a return to duty or for separation. The IDES goal is in 90 days (plus any amount of accrued leave and permissive temporary duty...

Req Another delay tactic that @Provis recommended to someone else is to ask for all female C&P examiners. It might stretch out you C&P exams for a little bit.

If you are DOD TDRL/PDRL retired with less than 20 years of service please read.

The earlier versions of this bill did include all Chapter 61 retirees with less than 20 years, but it did not get enough support. So, the next strategy was to submit it in its current form with only combat injured Chapter 61 retirees eligible because it part of an incremental strategy. Get...

    DOD TDRL Appeal Plantar Fasciitis

If you have orthotics and your feet still hurt while using them, that needs to get that documented in your medical records. If surgery is an option, but the ortho/podiatrist thinks that it will not improve your condition it needs to be documented in your records. Did you mention in your record...
