They told me to do it at least 60 days out so Nov 1st and by the time your out it will be set up and you’ll still get the BAH and school funding + book stipends etc.

I’ve talked to them and this is what I recommend. You can apply for VRE, which is the same thing as the GI BILL but better. You can apply for VRE while doing the PEB if we get that far. You can apply 60 days before school starts so they can get everything set up for when you go to school.

Everyone I know who’s been through it has said November. Not sure what the timeline is like in your area for separation orders but everyone I know has been out of the military in like 3-4 weeks after signing findings.

When I first signed my NARSUM etc. my PEBLO said the whole process takes about 150 days. So honestly if we find out our findings in the next week or so and get out around November it would be 150 days lol

My package was sent up July 5th. I’ve noticed it’s usually like 15 weeks from the day the package was sent. I know army and air force are way faster. I only found out because I asked but I think they usually do the fit/unfit right away when the package gets there and they take a while to update...

You can talk to 3 different people on the same day and get 3 completely different answers.

No I don’t, I mean just the normal like PEBLO, legal, MSC but you know how all they are most of the time you get different answers. I noticed the paralegals usually give you pretty straight forward answers but can only see the updated stuff in the system.

I’ve noticed a trend on some cases of being around 15 weeks since going up to the PEB. Theirs a few that are between 14-16 weeks.

When did you send your ppw to the PEB?

Yes I have been, the legal clerk or your PEBLO can usually tell you. The legal clerk told me today. She said it says in the system I was found unfit on August 30th but I got my VA proposed ratings August 8th so I’m unsure if they just take a few weeks to update their systems or not.

We have an extremely similar timeline, My case was send on 5 July and got my VA back 8 August

Has anyone called the PEB? I saw @guyqout3 did and they told him they sent them but never heard anything. Whenever I’ve asked they’ve said within the month but it seems that everyone’s case that went up around late June - Julyish is getting their findings.

Ive been reading the post for a while, my case was accepted to the PEB on 5 July and VA Aug 8th. Called legal today they tod me they a back log. Its been over 3 months now, seems some branches go faster than others. Waiting at Portsmouth VA.
