Congrats on the process moving forward. I am in the same step in the claims process right now. My unfit memo and paperwork went to the VA on the 18th of July. Hopefully there is not too much of a backlog of paperwork for them to process right now.

This doesn't make any sense to me. Your ratings are done by the VA, and the DoD matches the VA proposed ratings for the conditions that are considered unfit for continued military service. At least that is what I understand based off of everything that I have read and been told during all steps...
