Update: 18 December: VA Claim officially closed on app! Checked benefits letter and everything is the same as proposed. Shows first payment withheld offset with retirement pay for 1 December, and first full payment for 1 January.

Thanks! Yeah it’s already there and I did already email the rep. There were a lot of awards missing in there that my CPPA already put in Salesforce. So once that’s fixed it should be good to go!

It’s been insane throughout this whole process though. Each step leaves you with more questions than answers. But you’re almost there! I would start working on those retirement forms as soon as possible to get a jump on everything. It sure comes quick after signing findings lol

You won’t see anything on there until the case is closed. Usually the same day you’ll receive your proposed ratings either from your PEBLO, MSC, or from you calling the VA asking for them.

I’ve done everything minus the DD-214 within about a week of signing findings in September. I could have taken all of my leave but I chose to sell all 60 days for some quick cash. Plus 20 free days of job hunting is enough for me lol.
