Just getting approved from the CRSC will be more diffucult then all the boards u have gone thru. CRSC is another government B.S. red tape. It doesn't matter if you are retired (100% percent) by the military for combat related and 100% by the VA for combat related issues. NOT good enough...

Severance pay will be recouped. Severance pay is : for EX Soldiers who are not retired. You can't be retired and recieve severance pay ... You are either severanced and not retired or retired. I juust went throught this..

If retired at 70% (crsc) does that mean i will recieve 70% of base pay dated back to 2003? :confused::confused: Not sure how this back pay will work.

it was 11 months in waiting but good news. TDRL 60% and then 70% perm. It was a five page write up with all problems and decisions made by the board. i was told to wait about 2 months for record update. (214) Not sure about the money as of yet, but will post when i find out more.:cool:

Yes, did you put your high 3 in, va rating, board rating and years of svr..??? what did you put in ?? Even when i put $2700 50%/50% and va 100% 17 yrs srvc, it still came out with something good... I understand that the rating hasn't even come in, but it is still fun...

When do you apply for the CRSC--- after the board gives you the rating or you have to wait for 6 months. Can I send my info in now, before the rating decision?

Well according to the retirement calculator, it would be better to get 30% from the board and higher on CRSC scale..... This could be a number game maybe? Thanks for the info and yes it suc's that the CRSC has to be applied for after the decision is made.

Fort Sill, I was wondering why we still have to file for CRSC ? even after the Army made the decision.

Did you have to file CRSC or CRDP after your rating by the board?
