I signed my findings 14JAN26. My EAOS is the 26th of April this year, and currently I have about 60 days of leave, that hopefully I can take as terminal (which is one my questions). Worst case scenario, if I dont receive my orders within an ideal amount of time, would I be able to extend my EAOS to not only possibly use all my leave days, but to also give me sufficient time complete separation requirements?

My hopeful intent is to ensure i have adequate time to properly prepare for transition out the service without encountering administrative issues, being that my EAOS will be here soon.

I was informed I would receive orders within 1-2 weeks of signing my findings. With that information, I already have a place lined up to move in the next six weeks. Just hopefully everything works out to where I still can move in on time.

I’ve been told that they don’t care about your leave balance. But you should get 30 days if under 20yrs and 50 days if over 20 yrs. I haven’t seen that in an instruction.. it’s only what I’ve been told.

When were you found unfit and given preliminary VA ratings? I’m waiting on receiving findings back. PEB found me unfit on 12 January and VA ratings were preliminary completed in December.

I got a call from my PEBLO a couple days before I signed my findings on the 14th of January, telling me that the PEB found me unfit and then I was informed of my proposed ratings on the same call.

It will be longer than 1-2 weeks before you receive your orders. First a message will come through message traffic (OIX) depending on if you are being retired (PDRL/TDRL) or separated. In the message it will show the day of you EOS and the next day will be the day you are placed on the retirement list if being retired. This is usually 45 to 60 day from when they (PERS) received your case from the PEB. So things will be moving quickly once that message is released. The personnel office have five days to start a case with TSC. Yes you still have to complete taps and capstone and medical/dental checkout. As for leave if being retired you are allowed 20 days PTDY for house/job hunting and your terminal. Keep in mind anything over 30 days of terminal will have to go to the CO instead of the XO. Hope this helps and good luck.

Hey when you signed your findings how long did it take from your peblo sending it back to the PEB and when PERS received it and began working on it? I’ve been in close contact with the PEB for personal reason involving a sick parent and they’re basically just waiting to get the go ahead to expedite my orders. I signed my findings today

he did it that day when i signed my findings.

I signed my findings 12JAN26 and I haven’t received anything or heard about orders since. it’s really been a wait and see game.

I’ve checked NSIPS. I was told that’s where my orders would be :/
It’s not gonna be there I don’t think, check your service obligations (NSIPS home page one of the icons on the right hand side) see if your EAOS has updated and also follow up with your CPPA to see if PERS has your case

It hasn’t updated still shows my original EAOS. And honestly I’m not sure if he knows what’s going on.

Strange I’m sorry that’s going on you could reach out to your peblo/myncc /cppa/chain of command I would just make noise and see if something pops up

i’ve called my findings peblo and he said my case Was sent to PERS the day I signed my findings. But I’ll call MYNCC and see what’s the hold up.

It’s another one of those invisible things where it feels like nothing happening but some it’s moving along just slowly. My peblo told me “once you sign today I’ll send it back to the PEB, 7-10 business days then it will be with PERS. Roughly 60 days from now you’ll be separated”

And from what I can piece together from the past posts and what I’ve heard along the way is that usually it’s like a 6-8 week silence from signing then boom EAOS update, your admin team gets the go ahead to make your orders and then you’re out soon after.

Thats what I was told. But hopefully this week ends well with some great news.

Do you know anyone who have message traffic (OIX)? If so have them check under the order tabs and look for the PDRL/TDRL (whichever you fall under) lists to see if your name is there. From my experience when I signed my findings they were sent back to the PEB the same day and took about 10-14 days for them to send them over to PERS. Once PERS receive your index (case) they have 24-72 hours to release the message through message traffic. Which usually comes out on Friday (sometime every other Friday). With this message it will show your EOS and your retirement date which is the next day. Within 30 to 60 days after the message you should be separated. Once the message is released you should receive orders 2 weeks till month(s) depends. Since it already has been over a month. I would reach back out to the findings PEBLO and explain that it has been over a month and to verify that PERS accepted your case. Get dates to start a timeline. Once that is verified I would check message traffic for the retirement lists. If you don't know anyone who has access that can help you out and look for you, your Personell office should be able to look for you. I would also ask the people from personell has they started a case with TSC for retirement so you get your DD-214 on time. If all this fails it is time to get the chain of command involved. Go in with a timeline of when things were submitted and accepted so they can have ammo to fight with to get answers or things moving.

The reason I stress about the PDRL/TDRL message is you can start your job/house hunting (PTDY) leave which is 20 days and your terminal since you will know when your last day will be. You can be on leave and wait till your hard copy orders come in with no stress. My command let me did all mine together. 20 days of PTDY ended yesterday and started terminal today. So I will not have to go back into work anymore. I already have everything my hard copy orders and my DD-214 sent via email. Best of luck!

Just got my PDRL message yesterday, 16APR/17APR, I have 20 days of TDY and 7 leave days which would put me on terminal March 20th. How does starting terminal exatly work? I have most of the paper work filled out but I need a signature on my 1900/1 form from medical and I had to make an appointment soonest available march 9th before they'll sign off on it and my Admin team is waiting to submit everything until I get that done. Will my terminal route separately? Or do I have to wait for it all to go back to PERS and recieve my orders? Feels like if i have to wait then getting signed off on the 9th and getting everything back by the 20th is unliekly.
