Fort Carson Timeline 2025

Gotcha, that's kind of what I thought. The peblo tells me 6-8 weeks for PEB and 8-12 weeks for the VA.. I had 29 claims but in the narsum had it broken out into 45 different items.. Wondering how long it actually takes

Yeah, the NARSUM is going to break everything down what meets retention and what doesn’t. But for the PEB, the only thing that really matters are the unfitting conditions. My PEBLO told me it would take 10–12 weeks, but mine was done in 3, so hopefully yours moves fast too. Once the VA app or website shows the claim as 'closed,' you should hear back within a week with your findings and rating. You can also try calling the VA and ask them to email you the decision letter might take a couple calls and different reps, but some will send it

Ok thanks. Ya I have a few cousins who work for the VA, they always say the send complaints up but nothing get solved. Been happening like that for years.

I had 2 unfitting conditions and 43 fitting but the two were combat related injuries as backed up by witness statements I gave my peblo. Good luck out there man!

I was told for terminal leave you can take 60 days but if you want more an O6 has to approve it. I have an appointment with transitions today I'm goin to update my timeline and here on how terminal leave works when getting MEB.
My Division you can only take a maximum of 30 days terminal, 10 PTDY and 20 Leave. I will likely have to sell back days

That division is full of it. You’re entitled to use all the leave you’ve accrued no one can force you to sell it without a valid reason. N once you done with the MEB process theres no valid reason. Check AR 600-8-10, para 4-9 , it explains your right to terminal leave and the three options a Soldier has when ETSing.

Agreed and on the end of terminal leave and this MEB process you can even get an extension past the 90 days as long as you have an O-6 or higher sign off on it. Otherwise anything over 60 days would need to be sold since the 90 day mark is when you should be done NLT.

It's not up to your division. It's an army regulation. I'd look it up and advocate for yourself and go file an IG complaint. They can't tell you not to use your leave you've earned.

I was wondering if anyone had updates regarding to how fast people are getting their orders after their 199 on Fort Carson?
