So, I'm not 100% sure that this is the correct place to put this, but I have a lot of questions and fairly severe anxiety right now.
My separation date is on 25June2025 (yes, in 8 days). My records were sent to an AMRO board appr. 130 days ago, but they put off my case until I went through testing and diagnoses because the SHPE people decided to believe me when my own PCM refused to. My (many) appointments got me a diagnosis, but brought my case to be seen TODAY, 17June2025, so you can probably guess why I'm a ball of anxiety right now.
My major question is; when will I know the results of the board and if I'm going to be Med Boarded?
I have a LOT of people (supervisor, work area, Commander, etc) asking me every day for updates since I'm practically on top of my separation date, and I know about as much as any of them do. Which is literally nothing. My PCM is not great and doesn't even like talking to me, and was the one dragging her feet to get me diagnosed until my Flight Commander stepped in to force her to order tests because she was concerned for my safety, so I don't have much hope if my PCM is supposed to be the one to tell me anything... Would anyone know anything or be able to help?
I also contacted the Retentions office for my base, but they told me they could only extend my active duty orders with a 'going to be med boarded' decision from the AMRO board, so I'm kinda screwed if they end up saying no unless I reenlist for another 4 years, which I don't want to do because my condition is only getting worse...
