I was medically retired at the end of Feb with 70% DoD and 100% VA. 35 years of service from COMPO 3 but had many years of COMPO 1 time. Anyways, I called DFAS today to see if I would receive my initial check on 1 April. They stated they were waiting on Separation and High 3 data from HRC and recommended I call HRC to apply pressure. I called HRC and they said the data comes from PDRL and they have nothing to do with it. They gave me a phine number to call that simply says "this person has not setup a voice mailbox". No one answers and no way yo leave a message. Anyone have a POC I can contact? At best, it will now be 1 May before I get paid. Thanks in advance.

Not fun! I have ran into issues like this and found that a congressional inquiry can help! They have a person that is a liaison with all of the government agencies. I would create a ticket with DFAS to start and if you don't hear from anyone within a week I would start a congressional inquiry about your retirement pay. When there are issues with several different government bureaucracies it best to get a congressperson involved. That way its not each agency blaming each other.
The office that cuts disability retirement orders and processes them with DFAS is the US Army Physical Disability Agency, which is part of HRC. It now operates out of JBSA, Tx.
