PDRL?

do you have to be 30% or above to qualify for the PDRL, I have just received my first set of findings. PEB 20% Separate with severance, and the VA is rating me at 50%. In all honesty after reading my detailed decisions i don't have much to disagree about. But I am still a little sketchey on what the actual qualifications are for the PDRL. According to TRICARE you need to be on the PDRL to qualify to purchase insurance form them at the retired rate. Seeing as how i will not be medically retired but separated I was just curios of anyone could help shed a little light on the topic.

Yes, the requirement for PDRL is that you are rated at 30% or more and your condition is stable (the exception is for any member with 20 years or more active service who is unfit...these members would be retired, too).
