Not sure where this should be asked but I get medically discharged Aug 1st with severence. So my question is how long after I get out should it take for me to get my severance check? Thanks for your time.
 
Friends have told me that they recieved half in 30 to 45 days. The other half thirty days later. If your conditions are combat related taxes are returned 45 days after you file the paperwork that is sent following your second half. ;)

What percentage did they give you and how much severance? Just curious I am going thru the PEB process currently, and should be out soon, trying to get an idea. You get the severance 30 days prior to departure, but no later than 10 days to your discharge.
 
I got 0% for my med board findings and Unfit but under recommended disposition it says to be seperated from Active duty with severance pay. As per these forums and my peblo I should be getting 33000.00 before taxes. To find out severance take your base pay x2 x number of years you've been in. Good Luck Kiefer82.
