Time to pay it forward. This site has been a saving grace during my MEB so I hope my timeline can help. I am under the new IDES program.

Mid-March 2012: MEB initiated
27 March 2012: 1st mtg with PEBLO
4 April 2012: 1st mtg with VA Rep, VA claim starts
16 - 19 Apr 2012: QTC appointments
7 May 2012: Add'l QTC appts for more x-rays/lab work
7 June 2012: NARSUM completed
18 June 2012: 2nd mtg with PEBLO, receive NARSUM - local MEB states "does not meet retention standards/refer to IPEB"
21 June 2012: 3rd mtg with PEBLO, return signed NARSUM, turn in Letter of Exception
22 June 2012: Package off to the IPEB
10 July 2012: Ebenefits - "Gathering of Evidence"
Mid-Aug 2012: Ebenefits - "Pending Decision Approval"
20 Sep 2012: 4th mtg with PEBLO, received proposed DoD/VA ratings (my VA claim went through the Baltimore office)
1 Oct 2012: 5th mtg with PEBLO, will be returning my decision to accept or request FPEB

My results came one month before I expected. As many others have stated, do not rely on Ebenefits - it still says Pending Decision Approval for me! Best of luck everyone!!!

Congrats! That was fairly quick. If you don't mind letting us know, how many conditions were referred and what were they. This will help some of us gauge the possibilities if our conditions are similar.:)

Thanks for sharing! Glad we were helpful here and definitely appreciate the "paying it forward" sentiment. It helps others to see what happens with cases.

Hope all came out as you wished and all the best in the future!

Thank you again Jason for all your guidance and creating this wonderful site. I "lurked" for quite a while but I waited to post until I had some helpful information.

Out of curiosity, how is the Tinker process people wise? I know the DAWG group is very active yet somewhat disorganized, I have helped 7+ troops through the MEB process in the last 2yrs however most of them where single conditions and just one had multiple issues. Where did you go for your VA c/p's? etc. etc. Supposedly my meb was initiated on the 10th of sept, but I have heard nothing from anyone-peblo or otherwise.

TSgt Twitch,
As far as people, there are currently 3 PEBLOs assisting with those individuals being med boarded. They are all extremely overtasked, though. I wouldn't worry too much about not having heard from the PEBLO yet - it was about two weeks after I was told my MEB was started that I got the call to meet with the PEBLO. I didn't have a lot of interaction with the PEBLO because I figured with all my conditions, I should just wait and be patient (I had four referred conditions and 16 claimed conditions but I'll post more about those later). My VA C/P appointments were held at QTC which is in downtown Oklahoma City - they were really nice and thorough. Please let me know if I can help. I hope everything goes well for your MEB and that it goes quickly!!!

Looks good Kim, thanks for posting! You have a retirement and a 100% VA rating...lots of additional benefits come with 100% (property tax relief, etc.)

Thanks USAFAviator! I am so thrilled with the VA rating.

Very happy, you deserve everything you got. I could only hope that my claim picks up and I will off active duty and home with my family soon. Take care and God Bless. Active Bud!

Kiefer,

Thank you so much! I wish you the very best!
