I am hearing a lot of good things about this firm's support to veterans by ensuring their VA claims are filed and adjudicated correctly.

Womble Carlyle to Host Pro Bono Clinic for Disabled Veterans June 27th

Event Contact: Russell Thomas, (202) 857-4517

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC., will host a "When Duty Calls" pro bono clinic on Friday, June 27th at the firm’s downtown Washington, D.C. office.

When Duty Calls is a pro bono project designed to aid military veterans in the initial stages of filing disability claims with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Womble Carlyle attorneys and staff members work with veterans to help them sign up for the disability benefits to which they are entitled. This service is provided at no cost to the veterans.

Veterans interested in the clinic should call (202) 467-6900 or email [email protected] for more information.

The first clinic was held in North Carolina in July 2007, in partnership with the Young Lawyers Division of the North Carolina Bar Association. Subsequent clinics have been held in other Womble Carlyle markets and more are planned in 2008.
