Please help! So it has been 17 days since I signed off on my 1180 (air force) agreeing with my TDRL and ratings and I have still not received orders. My peblo told me it would only take up to 2 weeks and it has been over the 2 weeks now. I understand that this is all a long process but how long did it take some of you to get your orders? I contacted my peblo and she said my action officer is on leave and that the person taking over said my orders are at SECAF awaiting signature. How long does that usually take? If anyone can help that would be great!

That one part of the system I believe is still universal. Once you sign the PEB must make an entry into a system called TRANSPROC which is sent to the Retirement Services Officer at your personnel office (We call it a transition center). The PEBLO won't like it but contact the Retirement Services Officer directly and you should get a straight answer.
From an U.S. Army perspective, when the military service member is found unfit by the PEB and the DA Form 199 is finally signed [e.g. after completion of all appeals and reviews to include an one-time VA Rating Reconsideration (VARR) request, if warranted], the U.S. Army Physical Disability Agency (USAPDA), U.S. Army Human Resources Command (USAHRC) will transmit via the Transition Point Processing System (TRANSPOC) III or message to those installations without TRANSPOC-III, the required data to complete the military orders process.
As such, TRANSPOC-III performs transition processing functions in which it generates the DD Form 214 (Certificate of Release from Active Duty or Discharge) document, and schedules the generation of retirement/separation orders from the U.S. Military. Once received, the installation’s Retirement Services Office or other personnel transition office support facility will publish the discharge, REFRAD, or retirement order in a timely manner.
Moreover, the USAPDA will assign a not later than separation date that will not exceed 90-days after the completion of processing final determination by the USAPDA. The Installation Commander, through the transition center, will establish a separation date within the 90-day window. The not to exceed 90-day window allow installations flexibility to assign a separation date within the 90-day window based on individual military service member circumstances, but should not be construed as an opportunity to delay the departure of a military service member from active duty.

Well, I was brought back in the NG to go thru this process, which turns out was the Legacy, not ides. I really haven't had contact with the unit I was assigned to. In turn, how will I find out if orders have been generated? PEBLO maybe? I am just very anxious to get this done. I also heard that since my case was decided combat incurred, that I have to file for crsc. I understand that I have to have a DD214 in hand before I can file. Another reason I was curious about the process. I was erroneously discharged in 2006. Which may make things a little more difficult? That is why I went through Legacy. The start time of my MEB process was around September 13 and I was offered a 50% PDRL from the Army on the 17th of March, I signed the DA199 on 19th of March, so anywhere between 30 and 90 days from then I should have something? A new DD214,retirement pay or backpay and then i can file crsc?

CRSC happens AFTER you are discharged.
There is lots of info on CRSC. Go to the Army's HRC website.
You will be discharging from Army, so go to the Army website & read & download any forms they may have on CRSC so you can file for CRSC as soon as you get you DD-214 discharge date & papers.
ALSO, go to your State's Retirement HQs and get a copy of your RPAS statement. Make sure it's correct as your maximum CRSC and/or future retirement pay from the NG will be based off of that RPAS statement. If the RPAS is incorrect, you WILL have to get it corrected if it is missing qualifying time periods, etc, so you will collect the CORRECT amount and not be shorted!
So make sure that document is correct and get copies of it AND your NG retirement letter - if you have a retirement coming from the NG.
AND, get a copy of your "new" NG discharge papers, too. I think it's called a NGB 22. It's the NG's version of the DD-214.

This thought JUST came to me about your situation - a new disability finding and your eligibility for a military disability retirement.
I'm wondering if your CRSC will ALSO be retro-payable, too! This would be a good thing for you - I'm pretty sure anyway.
Just wanted to write this to you as it might be possible for this to happen - as I understand your case.
1. You won (earned) a disability - and this military disability was back-dated to your original date of discharge.
2. Your injuries that gave you this new disability retirement finding were found to be combat/combat-related.
3. You have a 15 year letter from the NG - not a 20 year letter? Make sure your NG RPAS is correct.
4. You will want your NG to give you an updated NG discharge paper - their version of the DD-214.
I'm hoping your 15-year letter from the NG will work for you - I just don't know anything about that 15-year piece.
I hope someone else here will chime in on the 15-year piece.
But, get all your AD and NG paperwork - updated DD-214, updated NG's version of the DD-214 (NGB 22?), and your NG 15-year retirement letter (wonder if you'll need an updated one?).
Then apply for CRSC. These new papers may give you a nice retro-check for CRSC. I THINK CRSC can go back 6 years.
Others here (I hope) will chime in on the CRSC retro period and your 15-year NG retirement letter. Remember, the maximum you can get for CRSC (if you do have a "good" retirement letter from the NG) is what your NG retirement pay would have been if you had regularly retired at age 60.
PLEASE keep us posted as to your results. I'm sure there will be more 15-year NG retirees out there with combat/combat-related discharges who will want to know what/how this works so they can get their fair and just awards.

What effective date did the VA grant your TDIU? When you submitted your application? Most likely they did and most of the time there wrong with the effective date. The effective date is when the problem arised not when you submitted the application. Please get back with me about this. I have a lot of great information about TDIU.
