Not sure if this is where I should post this, but here goes nothing.

September 9th, 2013: date of MEB acceptance

November 22, 2013: All QTC appointments finished, documents going in for Narsom

December 18, 2013: Signed NARSOM(Not too sure on the correct spelling of it.)

January 20, 2014: VA rating process starts.

June 12, 2014: Still no VA ratings, not even a change with ebenefits...

I put this here because I see others getting their ratings in 2 months. I am currently at 153 days of waiting for ratings. Is this reasonable? I have no idea whats going on now, I called the VA guy here and he told me his system shows that they have all the evidence they need and now they are just assigning ratings. He said in a week I hit the overdue and I will get pushed to the top. He told me that all the stuff going down with the VA is part of a different department and has no effect on the MEB process. But honestly... 153 days? Is this considered a long time to wait or am I just whining?

I had to wait almost 3 years for a VA Disability Rating and now I have to wait some more for an appeal.

Believe it or not, I signed my NARSUM (Narrative Summary) and it took almost a year to get the 99 back from PEBLO.

VA Regional Seattle was really backed up when I went through.

But I also understand if you have a complicated cae, it can take a little longer than "average" (whatever that is!).

Where'd your stuff get sent to?

V/R,

Im growing very restless myself. I finally called the VA today & requested a status update on my case. I was essentially told, "your case is still in the developmental stage & you can direct any further questions to your VA MSC or PEBLO." So my reply was "You can basically tell me nothing?" VA rep, "pretty much." -_-
I also asked if e-benefits was accurate because for my case it states "review of evidence." Again, i was told not to go off That. So frustrating to say the least.
My unfit memo was forwarded to the VA processing center in Auburn, WA on May 29th, 2014. So its been almost 2 months now. DoD/PEB found me unfit for 4 conditions & i have about a dozen or so claimed conditions with the VA.

Anyone else getting frustrated with the lack of communication from their PEBLO, difficulty reaching him or her, waiting on the phone with some idiot VA rep who just tells you to check with your PEBLO or MSC? Im seriously getting fed up with this shit & my patience is getting
lower by the day.

Ryan- i am 15 days ahead of you, i have just hit 70 days. Personally i feel that a lot of the vatings are coming back between 67-80 days. Moreover the timeline on AKO for VA ratings has been reduced to 98 days. i use this site and its members as my support group. it has been a long road to get to this point. for me the journey started almost 3 years ago. like you i am frustrated and pray for a quick ending. just hand in there.
As for the VA hotline- they have been terrible.

Green594,
I hear you man, trying my best to be patient. Like you this process started for me roughly 2.5 to 3 years ago as well. One of my biggest issues is i was denied entrance into the WTU twice even though i met all criteria. AW2 advocate & Ombudsman werent much help @ all...all show, no go. Ive been on a modified schedule where i come in 0800-1400 & just attend appointments & have admin time (surf the net really) but its such a waste of time really. On days i dong have appts it makes sense to me to just telephonically check in for accountability purposes & then stay home...relax, prepare for transistion, ect...thats exactly what the guys in the WTU do, they dont come in on the days they dont have aplts & sit around all day, they stay home while their cases are being adjunicated. Just recently the COL i work for sat down w me & we discussed my situation. I told him i have no duty description, am in physical pain most the time, have been approved for SSDI a couple months ago, My case is @ the VA and chances are i prob only have 60-90 days left. I also expressed my disdain for being required to come in for 6 hours a day on days i dont have appts. Hes very professional logical leader & agreed that is stupid. He said for now on just check in w the E-7 every couple days & only come in days u have appts. Sounds good right...what a great leader.
Well that A-hole E-7 of course says we need to have a talk, i misunderstood the COL, ect...dudes a serious hater & its aggravating. I served in extremely dangerous situations for extended periods of time...wont go into details but this POG actually tried to compare himself to me...SMH, ridiculous. Good thing is if he tries to go against what the COL already agreed w me for a modified schedule ill just have my psychiatrist write a profile listing i only attend appts & check in for accountabilty. Hes already said he'll do this if this dummy E-7 tries to get froggy w me.

What about you? Are u in a WTU or still in your regular unit?

I'm new to this forum thing so im sure i'll screw it up. Im at 97 days with just the VA. The lack of information being shared with my case is so
irritating I cant beleive how bad this process has been. If it wasnt for this forum I would go mad. have any advice or updates on your timelines?

Fox,
Im personally just waiting on my DA 199 to be forwarded to my PEBLO from the PEB. I already know what my ratings are & plan to accept. I also intend to apply for TDIU @ my VA exit interview.

Yourself?

Signed my DA 199 today. Was told I should appear on the TRANSPOC list by mid next week. Shortly after that will start clearing, submit DA 31, ect....

1 Oct 2013 to 18 Aug 2014 to get my VA ratings at Seattle. Still waiting on my 199.

@chiefrondale ,

The reason I asked what stage your e-Benefits account is @ so I could attempt to shed some light on your situation & potentially help.

As of last Friday you stated you haven't yet received your DA 199, but in your reply you state your status in e-Benefits is "historical" or in other words closed.
To me that doesn't make sense. If youre still waiting on your 199 you should be @ prep for decision.
Strange...I wish you the best with your claim/s.

I am somewhat confused about that myself, but my MSC and PEBLO both say things are happening like they should. I am putting all my faith into that right now. 461 days as of today. Been trying hard to stay patient, but it's hard at times. So I ask for updates and ask a lot of questions to understand the entire process better. And thank you for wishing me the best.
