No word yet...

I signed my narsum on June 10 and I have been waiting to hear something from the PEBLO's. I have been trying to give a little bit of time before asking questions (I don't want to annoy the PEBLO's.)
From what I understand, I am in England and my packet is sent to Randolph for the PEB. I am not sure if this is snail mail or email. I also know that the PEB has 15 days (From what I read in a timeline) to determine fit/unfit, but I am not sure if those are work days or calender days.

On my MPF my "assignment selection" changed to June 26 2015 deferred due to MEB/PEB. Not sure if that is a hint that my stuff arrived at AFPC and started being viewed or what.

Seeing how it has been a month since I signed my narsum, would now be a good time to ask my PEBLO's something, or should I give it a little longer to hear from them?

@Sniper,
Also great news!! Sometimes its good just to know or not have that feeling of uncertainty / not knowing. If u got below 100% but above 70% & are in receipt of SSDI, be sure to look into TDIU.

ABOVE POST was supposed to be for @ Unknown...

Hawkeye,
Good to hear u finally got your ratings & are pleased w/ the results, congrats!!
Any word on how long it'll be before you'll get your 199?
Thank you! It's a huge weight off my chest.
Well, my PEBLO wouldn't let me sign today. He said he's had too many people sign/concur and come back later wishing they didn't concur. I'll probably sign Tuesday. Not sure how long it will take after that. I think the PEBLO said less than a week, but not sure. I'm a reservist, so all the outprocessing and finance/personnel issues might be a problem.

Congratulations hawkeye and sniper! I am glad you both got the results that work best for you!

Congrats to all of you getting your ratings! The end is near!!

And thanks everyone for the clarification. This whole thing is so confusing.
I got an email from my peblo today - she said she STILL hasn't got my package back from my doctor yet, so it hasn't been sent..
Which confuses me even more because then why does my ebenefits say they are "prepping for decision" if they don't even have my package..?

I have the booklet I got at DTAP but my case doesn't seem to be following it, at all. And it seems to be common to have a vague, hard-to-get-ahold-of peblo.

For whatever reason, it appears to me that the VA has been processing your claim even though they haven't received your package from the IPEB. Of course, I could be wrong, but I wouldn't be too worried about the VA side of things if you still haven't had your papers forwarded to the IPEB.

Ok so I made contact with my PEBLO, and asked what was taking so ling for DOD to adopt the % the VA has had done since july 22. He said there was a note in my file saying that my packet had an error and it was sent back to the VA to fix. With that being said he seen that the VA finished on the 22 of AUG. Still motivated and ready to go. Hopefully this "error" doesnt change the ratings I was told earlier this month. take care guys

It was a great day today! Got my results in. Perm Retirement w/ 100%. (Also Perm & Total!!!) PEBLO mentioned how system he checks made no sense through my case. lol

Indeed, congratulations on the receipt of your IPEB findings inclusive of DoD PDRL and DoVA P&T proposed ratings! :D

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

I am AD.
Sorry, Im not understanding any of this. I assume the PEB is first, yes? And MEB stage comes after you are found unfit and your package gets sent to the MEB? Right?
I have not heard anything about being found unfit.. have not signed a package - or anything. But is it safe to assume that SINCE my case is in eBenefits - and has gone aaaaall the way to "prep for decision" that I was probably found unfit AND I'm in the MEB stage now? This doesn't sound like the way I keep reading other's timelines go.
Sorry for my stupidity on the subject - and thank you for helping. This seems to be the only place I am getting answers that are even written in what looks like english to me. And your cases seem similar to mine in time refrences.

No worries and please remain positively proactive while in the DoD IDES MEB/PEB process! ;)

As such, please reference my below PEB Forum URL for a detailed explanation about the DoD IDES MEB/PEB process in order to aide with building your new DoD IDES knowledgebase:

Damn snipes... I wonder if I am in the same boat as yourself

Just got a call on my cell... go in tomorrow to review my ratings.... pretty nervous. Mainly because things are near the end!

Congatulations Derek. I have heard nothing on this end. i received a call from the VA about 3 weeks ago asking me if i wanted to submit anything new. i called them back and said that i had nothing new.
The process has been so painful. Many of the Soldiers that i know who's packets were submitted at the same time as me have been completed for 2 weeks. i am at about 110 days now. The only positive that i have is the fact that i get closer each day. i just do not want this to drag out for another year.

Thank you green! Have you had any movement with ebennies? And when did your meb start? (Talking about official notification and irilo)

Good for you! Remind me again, please, what date (roughly) yours went to PDA on e-benefits?

Haven't checked in w/ you all for a while. I'm also still waiting for the PEB to forward my DA 199 & VA preliminary ratings to my PEBLO. My ratings have been complete since August 13th according to my VA medical service coordinator. I asked my PEBLO yesterday if he could check with the PEB & request a status of where my case is & was told "he is not allowed to." I don't believe this for a second & told him "okay, I was attempting to go through my appointed Laison, however I wasn't aware you're not allowed to communicate with the PEB, my apologies...I'll go ahead & check w/ them myself." LoL, I also told him lots of SM's have reached out to the PEB and/or the USAPDA (US Army Physical Disability Agency) & they are quite helpful in providing a real time update on the status of cases. (Which is true, Ive read this a few times now on various threads on this site). I'll prob call the number listed on the HRC website for the USPDA tomorrow & see what the hold up, since apparently PEBLO's are not allowed to do so.

From the experiences with my PEBLO in the DoD IDES process, that's a bunch of human waste which remains idle in the bottom of the toilet for sure! Wow, it seems that your PEBLO is doing the bare minimum in order to maintain his government employment; what a waste!

Indeed, remain positively proactive until receipt of feedback satisfactory to your expectations while in the DoD IDES MEB/PEB process! Take care!

Indeed, congratulations on the recent receipt of your IPEB findings inclusive of DoD and DoVA proposed ratings! :D

Moreover, I would strongly suggest that you please closely monitor your placement onto the military TDRL!

As such, please ensure to do all that is medically required throughout the TDRL evaluation period since the Military Departments are using the DoD Legacy PDES (post-DoD IDES MEB/PEB process) to their strategic and monetary advantage in my opinion! ;)

With that all said, take care and definitely enjoy life!

@Warrior644 ,
Couldn't agree more with you. Its even worse when your PEBLO is a veteran, like mine is. I've given him the benefit of the doubt numerous times, but his complete disregard to initiate communication, field questions, & respond appropriately & in a timely manner to emails has been nothing short of unacceptable.
