Its been awhile... Today my case finally closed out and I'm still at 80%. I suppose I'm going to be doing an appeal now. Do I still get paid at 60% during the appeal or do I get nothing until the appeal is over? How long does the appeal take?

Hmm, upon completion of the DoD IDES process, were you placed onto the DoD TDRL or DoD PDRL?

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

I meant do I still get paid at 80% until the appeal is over?

Yes, indeed since you received your VA final ratings at this point in time, correct? :confused:

Moreover, your VA disability compensation shall continue at the 80% rate until you are officially notified of any potential favorable change in VA disability compensation award via the DoVA appeal's process. Take care, and continue to enjoy life! :cool:
