I tried to call my PEBLO today. Nothing's changed with my case it's still at the VA and still says "Gathering Evidence" and that is could take "one to five months" for something to come back. I'll hit two weeks tomorrow that it's been there so I'm not fretting about it but at the same time I don't want to end up being stuck there for months. So I took it upon myself to call my MSC for further info since when I call the VA they bounce me back to them. I got berated on the phone by them about contacting them for more info and kept getting directed to ebenefits. I'm trying to prevent the same thing that happened to navyhm2015 from happening to me. All I gotta say is keep pressing your people and hope they're more cooperative than what I've been dealing with.
Also gotta add it's nice being able to use this board to get info on other people's case and info on how to go about mine. Kind of look as this as a sort of support group lol.

No idea how they lost it. I have called people once a week since this process started for updates, and have been told so many things that now.
I am hoping the VA goes quicker now, since they apparently have it now... With that being said, it is true, all you can do is wait, because sometimes, not even the PEBLO's get the proper updates. My PEBLO has been very helpful, but I believe the information she gets is the run around sometime. She is very quick and has tried to help as much as she can and for that I am thankful for. I guess its more time with a paycheck while I search for my perfect job.

My partner has been waiting 9 weeks. He was told his has been in the area the longest but they don't go by time in time out so it could be whenever. Last week he was told, "probably. within 4 weeks" but he has been told that every few weeks since the dang PEB started.
