How long for ratings from IPEB?

Good morning. I am new to this forum so maybe this has been answered before.
I have been waiting for my packet to come back from the IPEB with my ratings. I was frustrated so I called the VA (after being on hold for 1 hour) told be that they had finished my preliminary rating on 26August. I called my PEBLO who said she didn't know anything and couldn't see anything and that I would probably be another 2-3 months before I heard anything and that I need to learn some patience (my MedBoard was initiated on 1March).
Anyways, from what I know this seems a bit long to get ratings back, no? I am utterly frustrated and I don't know where else to try and get any information from. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

lol sorry. 60% DOD and 90% VA. I elected for 30 days so hopefully I'll be able to get out in time to trick or treat! :P

You can elect to get out 30-90 days. Orders take about 2 weeks, at least at my command, so really, you'll be out 45-90 days if you don't contest your findings in any way and sign them on the spot. I knew my ratings way before getting my findings so I knew what I was going to do.
 
so once you sign your 199 with your official ratings, that it when you wait on orders? And during that two weeks you start out processing at your duty station?
 
I still haven't got ratings or had a second claim open in Ebenefits. I'm so frustrated

the peb accepted my case september 1st back form the va, i was told 45 days is the turn around now. so 10 more days...frustrating lol. your almost 3 weeks behind me.

My PEBLO told me I was unfit at the 70 something day mark... im just waiting on the VA and DOD ratings now... super frustrating!

Where are you located? Did you get your 199 today?
 
I started my MEB back on March 1st and it took me until last week to get my 199. My PEBLO told me it would take 20 days to get my orders. Who knows ..... the way the system works it could be 5 days or it could be 30 days. I already cleared CIF and turned in all my gear (and for us that's the hard part so now I'm waiting).

I'm Army but if you're really frustrated you can try calling the PEB to ask on a status update.
This is the Navy number (202)685-6418 or (202)685-6419
The one for Army is 1-877-577-3065 .. I just clicked through the options until I was able to talk to someone.
The VA is 1-800-827-1000 .. they can at least tell you what part of the process it's in there.

I talked to my PSD and she said they would have my orders next week and I got my findings on Sep 30th. She also said that 30 days is more likely 35-40 days.
 
okay, i got my proposed ratings september 1st and that is the day the PEB accepted it, so im on day 38 right now, crossing fingers for ratings next week.
