So my VA ratings were sent to me on May 18th. I didn't receive them until the first week of June. I haven't heard anything from my PEBLO in regards to coming in and signing a DA 199. Reading all of these posts and timelines can be a curse.

If I was you I would call/email/go see your PEBLO and see if they have received your 199 from the PEB. If they haven't you can ask them to make sure the PEB is working on it still and that your ratings have been completed since May 18th. Some people take days to weeks after VA has completed for the PEB to send the 199 to your PEBLO. Again best thing you can do is talk to your PEBLO and find out. If your PEBLO is difficult then I would suggest talking to your OMBUDSMAN and have them do a inquiry.

Sorry, I have a few questions about the VA sending you your ratings, according my AKO IDES tracker it shows that my "VA Rating phase" was completed on 29 June (only waited 60+ days) but when I check ebenefits it went from pending decision approval now to gathering evidence.. so I called the VA and the lady was pretty cool but she said she couldn't really talk about my claim and that "something" has been sent to my house.. but she said she isn't allowed to say what that "something" is... now do they actually send your ratings to you or by you does that mean your PEBLO.. and what happens next, I get called in to sign a 199 ?

I of course asked this question to my PEBLO via email on 29 June but I have yet to receive a response..

It's my understanding that after 7-10 business days they can fax or mail you your proposed ratings, is this not the case if you are in IDES?

Never trust what E-benefits reflects while you are in the IDES process. During your IDES process that information is not really for you its for the VA personnel. It can be too far in advance, it can be lagging behind, or it can change something totally to where you aren't because they have to fix something on their end.

As far as the process, no the VA does not send you the ratings, they send them to your PEB who will in turn send them to your PEBLO who will in turn share them with you. They (the VA) also send it to your VA MSC who if you are on good terms with, may share it with you.

May 18th the VA was complete with my proposed ratings. I called them and they informed me that they sent them to my residence. I didn't receive them in the 7-10 business days. I had them resend the packet via mail. They will NOT fax or email ANY ratings to you. I finally received a packet on June 7th. One of the packets never arrived. I'm not even going to wonder which one. After carefully looking over the packet, I called the VA the next morning to inform them that I'd received the proposed ratings. Nothing else was done at that point. The female informed me that they were just waiting on a response from the PEB at that point. I emailed my PEBLO with the information and she just responded with, "It looks like your ratings are complete. Your case is back with the PEB for processing. The PEB has been experiencing delays. It is unsure when the PEB will have your case ready for your review. Hopefully soon." THAT WAS JUNE 9TH. This process is annoying AF!

Have to remember, just because you ratings are done on a given day, doesn't mean the PEB is discussing your case that day, or discussing any cases on that day for that matter.

I know it sucks being patient, but I am glad I was. For me it paid off in the end.

I'm actually no longer on active duty with the National Guard. I resigned prior to the MEB being started. I'm a contractor on JBLM. So I'm going to receive a nice back pay from Dec. VA rating of 90%. I'm not sure how the DOD pay would go.
