I hope this post isn’t too vague but I’m hoping to retain some anonymity for now. I was referred in June of last year. Near Oct-Nov I became restless, found qtc number and called/scheduled my appts myself. Completed those. January comes and speak with legal and find out one of my claims was incorrectly documented so request imr and extension. It’s been six weeks and nothing has happened. Is there anything I can do to speed up the process? Should I go to Ides building and ask them the same thing? I don’t want to throw my peblo under the bus. Any help would be appreciated

I know it’s kind of hit or miss but the only guidance I have to go off of is the cms dashboard which is putting me at another 240 days from completion.

unfortunately, its a waiting game. I am going through the same thing, keep calling your peblo weekly. Things are slow, and I hate that things like the pandemic/texas storm are being used as excuses. Stay positive and keep your head up

The process is slow for everyone.

The only thing I can add is if you have a supportive commander, mention your frustrations to him or her (obviously using the chain of command first.) It's amazing how a stalled process is immediately kick-started by a call/email from an O-6.

Im in process and called qtc myself as well as informed by msc from VA.
I was sent to peb and signed off on my narsum.
However, i saw many who hired lawyers when they got into imr. In reading the narsum requesting an imr, it was my understanding that you chose the doctor and got medical records to turn into the peblo. And i believe if you request an imr you have a certain time. I would research google for extention request and seek out legalnat fort gordon as well.

you’re correct. I think the extension is five business days. The Dr who did the imr called me about three weeks ago. Informed peblo. Nothing.
