Too long & Unorganized

I am a Navy enlisted service member going through IDES at NMCP. Like many of you, I am fed up with the IDES process and my PEBLO.
Here is my timeline:
18OCT19: 1st LIMDU initiated
20DEC19: Sent from a shore based billet to a squadron for ‘LIMDU’
03MAR20: Provider had me removed from the squadron and placed at an actual LIMDU command due to conflicts with restrictions.
18MAR20: 2nd LIMDU because of COVID I was told by my provider it would be best to wait until C-19 called down for PEB.
18SEP20: Referred to PEB
19-21OCT20: Sign paperwork for PEB. Speak with attorney, PEBLO & VA rep.
21DEC20-09FEB21: (8) QTC exams completed
08FEB21: Sign 6 month extension for EAOS
23MAR21: All exam notes loaded to TOL.
24MAR21: Begin reaching out to PEBLO regarding signing NARSUM on a weekly basis with the response of, “We are so busy I can’t even look you up but your way down on my list.”
4MAY21: Letter received from VA stating unfit/100%. Call PEBLO to ask if these were my findings and she said, “No, you haven’t even had your docs sent to DC and the VA has been screwing up and sending members their findings before we even get a chance to review them.” Ask about NARSUM again and I’m still wayyyy down the list at this point.
17MAY21: Find out from my VA rep that it’s highly unusual to wait so long after the QTC appointments to sign NARSUM. When I called my PEBLO upset because it took several attempts to see where my paperwork was, she stated that the doctor that put me up for PEB went on deployment for C-19. She said she had essentially forgotten to follow up and didn’t realize she hadn’t sent my package to DC. All sorts of excuses about telework and being over tasked with cases.
01JUN21: PEBLO finally has me sign my NARSUM that was a simple copy and paste from my medical record because my doctor was on deployment.
Findings:
04MAY21 -VA: 100
TBD -DoD: TBD

Out day: TBD

I was told that I “should” hear something within 8 weeks especially since the VA already has their findings. I am coming up on the end of my first 6 month EAOS extension and I am heavily debating not signing another after reading how long this process is taking for some. I am in school full time, play the navy game, have a family to take care of and my husband is gone frequently. I am at my wits-end with this process and just want to be able to get out and be done.
I read about how someone wants to be out as well and someone replied, well atleast you’re still getting paid. When you have been waiting this long, dragged from one command to the next and are already working towards your next step in life, you don’t care about the paycheck. would rather be out of the navy and moving on from its toxicity.

I don't think you should be signing any contract extension. I am not 100% on that but i was kind of in the same boat. They gave me a "hold" NEC and have been extending my contract out 3 months every time it comes up the date I'm supposed to get out. I don't sign anything, i just look on NSIPS and see that my Soft EAOS is extended 3 months.
As for waiting on findings from the PEB, good luck. I mean that sincerely. I hit 10 weeks tomorrow and nothing has been done at all. My PEBLO is also unhelpful and not worried about doing their job effectively or efficiently. I feel your pain. Hang in there, you're almost done!

The system use to take much more time, but it is still nerve wrecking to have someone else determining your future.

Package not sent until 12JUN21. Updated all dates from what the PEBLO's supervisor gave me.

I'm in a very similar situation.

30DEC19: First LIMDU period started
15FEB20: Transferred from CSD to a Norfolk shore command
30JUN20: Second LIMDU period started
24JUL20: Shoulder surgery
Mid-Late 2020: Physical Therapy, more injections
2021: Third LIMDU period started
02MAR21: C&P exams with QTC as part of the BDD program
31MAR21: Referred to medboard
April '21: Sign 6 month extension, moving EAOS to November '21
02JUN21: Signed MEB package to be sent off to PEB
09JUN21: Most recent update on VA.gov. I'm guessing this is when the PEB accepted my package
10JUN21: VA.gov shows a separate claim with a "closed" status. I think this was just adding my dependents to my original claim.

I never received a letter from the VA telling me my proposed rating, but my VA rep confirmed that she's able to see the proposed rating though she's not allowed to tell me what it is.

My PEBLO is also completely worthless and I'm honestly wondering if we have the same one.

You can call the VA and say that a ratings letter was mailed out but you didn't receive it. Don't mention IDES. It may take a few attempts but you should be able to get your hands on it without having to wait on your PEBLO.

Oh perfect, thanks. Just the normal 800-827-1000 phone number?

It worked! The guy on the phone said he was not allowed to discuss my proposed rating with me at all...but he could email me the letter. Looks like I'm going to be getting 70% VA disability and my disqualifying condition is rated at 30%, so I'll likely get medical retirement!

Also, the letter states that a copy has been provided to my PEBLO but he's never mentioned it to me. The letter is dated June 11th...

I got a letter that told me my total percentage but didn’t give me any breakdown of what condition got what percentage. Huh.

The VA letter shouldn't say anything about your referred condition. Are u sure it said yours and not "veterans with a 30% or more". Just curious.

Called and got the letter for proposed VA rating dated april 29th. I don't know why i didn't get it. However the proposal was before my back exam had to be redone.

I can confirm this method works. I got my letter today via email after I called them. I am at 90% with an additional claim pending for scarring. Thank you for sharing!

I'm at 80 before they had to redo my back exam. The forms they used were outdated but the lady doing my intial exam completely screwed it up and made it seem like there was almost nothing wrong with my back. hoping for a 100 percent

Yea I had a really good exam but ultimately am separating because of a spinal fusion that isn't getting better. So retired with 90% is great. If they squeeze 5% for scarring on my right arm that'll be cool but I'm not pressed either way. Every bit helps. I wish you luck! ROM is everything for back

Are your dependents added automatically to your VA claim if they're already in DEERS? I wasn't given any extra paperwork when I submitted my VA claim to add them.
No, you have to do it. You can do it online, where it said add dependents. Ebenefits.va.gov.

Mine were added automatically. The VA.gov claim tracker actually shows a separate claim that was opened and closed the day after my package was sent off to PEB. I’m pretty sure that was my dependents being added.

This is a screenshot of my narrative letter. They emailed me a notification letter that stated my overall proposed rating, and then this narrative which broke the conditions down. I was referred to the medboard for a shoulder injury that wasn’t improved by surgery, and the letter shows that my rating for the shoulder specifically is 30%. So based on everything I’ve read, the DoD rating should be what the VA has proposed for the referred condition(s).
