For the Navy you just have your command email the disability retirement email they have to request the new EAS date. I would email the disability retirement email yourself to find out what dates you can choose tho and then tell your command!

Congrats! So this morning my EAOS updated from my prior extension. Although I'm waiting on orders my new EAOS is 11/19/2022 LOL.
It varies because some people took a couple weeks and mine took 2 months.
Hey guys I’m on terminal leave WOOHOOO! For our SGIL life insurance does it continue after we get out and the take the money out of our VA or electives pay. I’m not sure how it works and don’t remember someone explaining it to me cause I see it on my DD-214. I’m TDRL also

RAD date is “Release from active duty.” Then the PDRL date is literally the following day.
DODM 1332.18 Vol 2 requires 45 days be granted the separating member, plus “administrative absences,” which refers to PTDY and House-hunting. The 45 days is to give the command time to separate you properly ICW PSD. If your command is confident they can do it faster, then the command admin shop can contact the disability inbox to request the timeline be slid to the left. But in general, it is inadvisable - commands and PSDs are not known for getting the separation process correct in 45 days, let alone less than 45.

You don’t get to choose. 75 days is the standard per DODM 1332.18. Command admin shop can reach out via the disability inbox to request a different date, but it’s not commonly granted.
