If you find that the VA or PEBLO/AFPC is confusing or not helping, schedule an appointment with VERA as they have direct access to the VA systems. Additionally, contact your local congressman as they can highlight/flash your case file if you have a good reason such as pending employment or hardship reasons. These two sources have honestly been more help than my PEBLO and MSC by all measures as I got more information from VERA and Congressman in 2 days than the whole process.
 
Thank you for mentioning the info about VERA. I’ve never heard of it, but I set an appt with them to find out more info about my case. A received the MYFSS auto-generated message on 12 July, but my PEBLO & MSC have not been very helpful since then, so it will be nice to see where my case is at currently.

Yes, the coordinator on the phone clarified when, who, and what of the actual VA Claims process. Their estimation was based on current VA case load, other cases with similar factors, and lastly by including my current time of 106 days in the IDES process.
