TIMELINE:

LOCATION: JBSA FORT SAM HOUSTON

MEB REFERRAL: 05OCT2022

P3 PROFILE INITIATED: 12OCT2022.

CONTACTED BY PEBLO& INITIAL PACKET RECEIVED: 19OCT2022.

INITIAL PACKET SENT TO PEBLO/IDES DECISION: 20OCT2022.

VA EXAMS: 09NOV2022, 15NOV2022, 16NOV2022 (3 EXAMS)

I noticed the last week of November until the first week of December my DBQs were uploaded on Tricare Patient Portal.

NARSUM: Originally received 22DEC2022 and signed 28DEC2022, sent back to me on 04JAN2023 for revision due to the provider noticing one of my conditions should be split into two separate conditions, which resulted in me having 3 conditions that didn’t meet retention standards and originally, I had only two conditions that didn’t meet retention standards.

NARSUM SUBMITTED: 04JAN2023.

PEBLO INFORMED ME I WAS UNFIT: 25JAN2023.

CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION CLOSED ON VA.GOV: 07FEB2023. I emailed my MSC and she said it means that the VA has completed the proposed rating and has sent it to the PEB for the administrative paperwork. Does anyone know how long that process takes?

Mine took one week exactly from day of closing.
 
I was informed I was unfit 25JAN and my claim showed closed as well on 07FEB. My MSC told me it doesn’t mean anything, but I’m starting to have faith findings are coming after seeing we have the same dates.

I am starting to have faith as well, and honestly thought the VA would take longer when it came to deciding on the proposed ratings.

UPDATE:
RECIEVED PEB FINDINGS/199: 2/15/2023
SIGNED AND SENT 199: 2/16/2023.
DOD: 40% VA: 90%
DISPOSITION: PERMANET DISABILITY RETIREMENT
Waiting to be contacted by my MSC to close my case at the VA.
 
I’ve been notified that I have been unfit by PEB and that I am waiting on ratings. I keep checking VA.gov under open claims and I am not seeing anything. Am I looking in the wrong place?

No, you're looking in the right place cause the VA.gov is where I saw that my claim case closed. Just continue to check the website every day. When was your NARSUM submitted?

I sent my signed NARSUM to my peblo on the 17th of January.

And was informed I was found unfit by the PEB February 8th

Not yet. I had my close out interview with the MSC (VA) rep. She said it could be up to 5 weeks. I’m on week 2. Are you waiting on EAS as well? Sorry if I don’t remember. Apparently I hurt Someone’s feelings on a reply and I can’t see any of the previous posts.

That’s okay lol it won’t hurt my feelings, but yea I’m waiting for an EAS… 5 weeks??? That’s so ridiculous I hope it’s not 5 weeks. My peblo said to let them know if it’s any longer than 30 days. If you don’t mind when you finally get it can you let me know and what they set it as ?

Yea, it’s definitely been a journey. When did you sign your finding? Honestly, I’m not too stressed about this wait, I have little ones in school and would prefer to move as close to school letting out as possible. My biggest worry is the 214, I’ve seen some horror stories on this forum.

I just signed on Monday the 13th so I know I got a few weeks just hoping
It’s more around 2 weeks rather than a full month before getting it
 
Does anyone know how long it takes to hear back from your PEBLO after signing the DA199? and how the whole getting orders cut goes? I just emailed my MSC regarding my exit interview, so I am still waiting to do that.
