My Timeline - Currently Waiting on VA for Ratings

Hopefully this is enough proof to back my appeal
So today I spoke with my IDES Attorney and she recommended FPEB over just doing a VARR. Tl;Dr she said my shit was all sorts of fucked up and doing a FPEB gives me the highest percent chance at getting it all fixed. ALLEDGEDLY its only taking ~45 days to have a hearing but we'll see

Thank you so much, I completely feel you, it felt like going in circles and that no one was looking out for me, it was definitely one of the worst times just waiting for it all to be over. I wish you a better experience, and I hope you get yours soon!!
How many claims did you have with the VA?

I obtained a formal board hearing 8 days after I signed for an appeal, and it was scheduled a month after I signed for 09Mar2023. I hear that things are starting to go faster.

Update on my case:
Sent to PEB: 30NOV22
Sent to VA Rating Officer: 28FEB23

I did call the VA and they did tell me that the case is with the Rating Officer. So my question is does this mean I was found unfit? My PELBO didnt tell me anything else other than it was with the VA now.

Yep! Your case is only sent to the VA for ratings if you've been found unfit. They used to send everyone regardless of fit/unfit to get a head start but that was too much work.

Awesome, now I guess just playing the waiting game at this point. Been on IDES since June.

You don't get to pick orders when you're unfit. PEB will forward your approved findings to PERS, you'll get a separation authorization message with instructions to process, and then you'll get orders later from TSC Norfolk.
Ooo okay, I think I didn’t write that clearly. What I meant to say was to pick a separation date for orders, but it was just an app to get all the paperwork started. Do you know a time estimation by chance?

PEB is getting results to PERS in 2-4 weeks, separation authorization message within a week, separation date 36-61 days after that.

So I have seen on here that people are able to see their claims on the VA website or App. But I haven't been able to, I called the VA last week and was told it is with a Rating Officer but that was it. Does anyone else have this issue with VA website or App?

You'll only see your VA claim on the website when it closes.

I had my FPED this past Thursday (09MAR2023), seemed to go well. They recommended I talk to my lawyer about PLD after as well, so who knows.

At the moment I’m waiting for final disposition.

For anyone who is getting proposed VA ratings, are they telling y'all if you're P&T or Temporary with your percentage?

Initial ratings came through as an email. Did not specify p&t Or temp. Didn’t find out P&T until I had my close out with the VA (MSC).

case was sent to PEB Jan 27 I was found unfit March 13 peblo says case is being adjudicated and waiting on VA. How long until I most likely will be out?
