How long does it take to find out if you are unfit or not?

I signed my NARSUM in march 2023 and got my unfit from the PEB in Aug 2023i signed my narsum on July 25 and i yet to fid out wether im fit or unfit. i called VA to see if they received my claim and they didn't. any estimates on this part of the process?

Was supposed to take 90 days by reg, but PEB requested VA to add ratings for hips. VA said no and there’s no time restriction once it is passed between the two. On the plus side I got 20% from army and nothing from VA for my condition. I’ve fought this all since 2020how is that possible lol?
I personally got my ratings on 15 August. Almost 60 days to the date from my case submission to PEB. I'm not surprised you haven't gotten anything yet. That'd be a quick turn around unless you had an expedite memo.
Keep in mind some of the users posting quick turn arounds, for example Kmac77 (my assumption based at looking at their other posts), are using the fact that the VA received their case as a proxy for being found unfit. That is NOT necessarily the case (although it almost always is) as an attorney that posts here has noted in one of his client's case. You're not unfit until the PEB comes back officially stating you're unfit.

Nope! I'm in the same boat as you. Signed my narsum 25 July. still waiting to hear anything back. peblo stated it could take 6-8 weeks before hearing anything.UPDATE: STILL HAVE NOT OUT FOUND IF IM FIT OR UNFIT YET (AUG 17)

How does someone expedite their claims/199 process?I'll be 8 weeks on 16 Aug since submission to PEB. Unless you're expediting you're in for a wait.

I honestly don't know the ends and outs. You'd have to ask your PEBLO. However, every instance I've heard of someone had a job/college acceptance letter.How does someone expedite their claims/199 process?
I entered the PEB phase this week. I talked to my PEBLO today and asked him if he can let me know when I’m found unfit. Apparently that’s not a notification he receives but he will be glad to check it for me every few days through whatever system that tracks the progress. So if your PEBLO is lazy they may not even check it.
