August 22 2023 - NARSUM date
August 22 2023 - MED counsel start date
October 4th 2023 - Package submitted to PEB
November 6 2023 - On VA.gov my compensation claim was closed, called the VA and they sent me a proposal letter for 60%, inside the letter the VA stated "We were requested to provide this because you were found unfit" ? don't know if this would mean that the PEB had made their decision before I was told they did? Not sure.
November 21 2023 - Was notified via email that I was found unfit by the PEB but no ratings, told that the final ratings could take 1-2 months to get.

Anybody at the stage I'm at? I see that some people get their final ratings in less than a month and some more. I see that some people on here are calling this number 571-442-0592 and saying it's the PEB and they may be able to tell you what stage your PEB case is at. I've called multiple times over the past two hours and only ever get a message saying your call has been forwarded to an automatic voicemail system. Anyone else want to share experiences of calling and actually getting an answer? Thanks.

I’m 99% certain you’re in the QA stage. I’m at day 48 in QA. There’s a backlog, you’re probably looking at about the same time.

Fuck, it's rough man. Trying to apply for trade school and have to drive across country to Florida when I get out and it really fucking sucks not being able to get at least updates where it's at in the PEB process. I've heard that the QA phase is actually the last portion of the PEB phase not sure if that's correct.

QA is the last phase before findings are sent to your PEBLO. From my understanding the VA dumped hundreds of cases on the PEB around june/July. QA is slowly making their way through that backlog. I think it’s normally only a few days in QA but since July it’s been 8-10 weeks


Also, you have some time even after you have results. It would be great to have several months, but you’ll have a month or two to make your plans.

It was not an email directly from someone at the PEB, it was my IDES attorney.

Update: called the number for the PEB to see where my PEB is at and he told me three more months as of today.

That checks with chart honestly. You’re two months behind me and I don’t have findings. Plus holidays on top of that.

You think i have enough time to do a skill-bridge? Literally finished with everything and just waiting with a thumb up my ass while still doing bs tasks at work, i figure why not actively spend my time preparing for work outside this life since thats where im transitioning towards instead being an extra man at the shop who cant deploy or anything doing nothing for myself or future and just stressing waiting for results while putting up with bs.

I heavily doubt that you’ll have the time to get accepted into a skillbridge but you could always apply.

Update for anyone following this thread, PEB told me yesterday that there are 300 cases in front of mine and I should expect to get final results late Jan to early Feb. He also told me that they currently have nine thousand cases right now.
