IDES Timeline Camp Lejeune

For those of you that accepted your ratings how much longer does it take for your new EAS to change on MOL?

I'll add a question on to this as well- how far away was your EAS date from the date you accepted your findings. (Trying to guestimate that month I'll be getting out).

I’d assume so. I called them at 0825 EST an the guy wasn’t rude at all. Asked social and full name and gave me an update. (571) 442-0592 I called at 0800, 0802, 0805 all went to voicemail till the 0825 call went through. I even tried to (202) 685-6427/6422 number and no answer.
When you called him, did you say to him to give you an update?

Update on my timeline! VA Claim Received. Called the VA and they said they would send a letter tomorrow to my home. Was hoping for an email, but it seemed they weren't interested in that. Was anyone able to get their claim emailed to them?

Referred to IDES: 5 October 2023
C&P Exams Complete: 20 November 2023
PEB Accepted: 19 December 2023
VA Claim Closed: 18 January 2024

I got mine emailed to me. I got it done first try but people have said that some reps will do it some won't. I'd call back and keep trying until you get one that does it.

We literally have the same timeline except my VA Case Closed on 5 January 2024. I'm hoping that we hear back from them soon. I'm so ready to get out and start my life!

I’m ready to move on too. I still trying to finish TRS though so I’m alright if it take a month or two, but not much longer. Thankfully I’ve got about 60 days of leave so I won’t be working much come mid February.

I wish I could do that but my command wouldn't let me take that much time. I'm hoping that I'm out by April at the latest.

Our VA claims closed out the same day. What did your PEBLO say the timeline was from here. Apparently mine is 2 months. I'm Navy by the way but I know Navy and Marines are under the same roof as far as this process is concerned.

I'm Navy as well. My peblo didn't give me a time frame when I asked her. She flat out said I'll contact you when I find out/receive any information. I even tried contacting my Lawyer and they just said the DOD is in the process of making their decision.

Did you receive your proposed ratings or told you were fit/unfit?

I got a proposed VA rating of 70%. Since then nothing, the VA Letter did say I would be found unfit.

Yes. I just said my PEBLO hasn’t updated me I was wondering if you could.

I just called into the PEB. I was told I've been in QA for 53 days (which means I hit it NOV 27th) and that there are 25 cases ahead of me. He said that they may get through those 25 today and I should expect to get news back by next week.

PEB told me today that I have two more weeks approximately, 150 cases are ahead of me .-.
Its insane how people behind me have already gotten theirs and i still have basically a month wtf
You should be right around me in the queue. Hopefully you get news back next week with me.

believe I am right around you both as well.

TBH despite the wait, the few updates I’ve received directly from the PEB have been pretty much spot on.
You should be right with us yeah. I really wish there was more clear communication from the PEBLO to the PEB to us. It doesn't make sense to me that we can call in and get accurate timelines for the most part but our PEBLOs can't/won't? Weird. The wait would be so much better with consistent accurate communication.

Mine was submitted on 15 DEC and there is still nothing on the VA site/App. It would seem times vary.
Claim was closed today on VA.gov I called the VA to ask for a copy of the letter and the rep said they didnt have a copy of the decisions letter yet. Ill try to call again later, not sure if the rep just didnt want to share it. Were you all able to get you letter same day?

I got my letter same day but my claim also said that the decision letter was there but it wouldn't let me view it. Communicating that was what got it emailed to me.
