MEB Referred: Dec 5th 23
DES brief: Dec 15th 23
Completed C&P exams: Feb 15th 24
Signed NARSUM and NMA: Apr 3rd 24
PEB Accepted: May 21st 24
Called VA in decision phase: June 3rd 24

Anyone with similar PEB accepted date? Trying to gauge a good time on when to call the VA 1000 number to see proposed ratings or gain any insight on what next steps are.

My PEB was accepted on May 9th and I called on May 30th and got my proposed ratings also on the VA app it said my claim was closed.

Awesome, so figure another week or two if I’m lucky. I’m wondering if the number of claimed conditions has an impact on how long it takes. I have a lot

Yeah so hopefully around a week for you, I'm not sure if the number of claimed conditions has an impact but i also claimed a good amount of stuff.

Congrats!! signed NMA may 8th and still in decision phase, hopefully these next couple weeks i get something! I also have a lot of claimed conditions, glad to know it can come soon.
 
I had my PEB accepted on May 21st as well already got my proposed ratings after calling the VA number but still haven’t heard anything from the PEB I started my MED board in Oct 2023

I signed my narsum on 5/8 and peb was sent 6/10 just waiting for it to be accepted. I am also in decision phase for VA.

My Peb was also accepted on May 21st still no word yet ive tried calling anyone i can to get information but no luck any update on your end? Claims closed on feb 8th proposed ratings at 90% VA.

So the VA is on its own schedule with deciding ratings? Does the PEB have to wait for the VA to make their decision first or are they both separate from each other when deciding?

Theyre both completely separate but the PEB is who send results to peblo in the end.

If the VA finishes first it will get sent to PEB

If PEB finishes first then it will request your proposal from VA

I have seen everyone talking about this jeff guy, he seems to be helping folks with issues, who is he and what does he do?
