IPEB hasnt sent unfit to the VA

Good morning yall,
Hoping someone could offer me insight on what tree i need to shake to keep the process moving forward. My case timeline for the IPEB is below:
Nov 18 2024: IPEB submitted, MyFSS email received
Nov 22 2024: IPEB found unfit (per what My peblo can see)
Dec 30th 2024: called the VA to see if there's any guess on when I might hear everything back, they said they are just waiting on the IPEBs fit/unfit decision

I've tried to give Jeff a call but don't exactly want to blow up his phone as I'm AF and from what I understand he's navy PEB, but I want to see if there's any way I can get the process moving again. Any help would be much appreciated!

I hope so. VERA call in an hour, hopefully they have better news for me. Im getting real fucking sick of it feeling like the goal post keeps moving
Yeah, but we're super close at this point. Once I know my VA rating it will help my anxiety significantly. I just need that so I know where I'll be financially after I get out.

Same. I've got different plans laid out for the different levels of rating but I just would really appreciate some concrete answers.

I have a similar issue. I spoke with my Wounded Warrior VSO, he says that a rater was ready to rate my stuff on January 9, but he is waiting on UNFIT determination from IPEB.

My PEBLO says IPEB made the "Unfit for Duty" determination on December 12, 2024 and sent it to the VA.

Whenever I ask my MSC to check why the VA has not received my UNFIT determination yet, he says the same thing as morgmeb's MSC, that he can't give me any information until the EXIT interview and that he's just there to set up my C&P appointments.

I called the 401-223-3700 number and they are saying the last update is Dec 11, 2024 "pending IPEB review" and to be patient, it's not done overnight.

What am I supposed to do at this point? Seems like the information has not gone from IPEB to VA that I am "Unfit for Duty".
When did you sign your NARSUM
Get your unfit for duty submitted
And got proposed ratings?
I signed my NARSUM 1/15 I’m waiting now

I have not gotten my proposed rating. I should have it either next week or week after if all goes according to timeframes.

NARSUM comes first in the Air Force, so I signed my NARSUM towards end of September, 2024. I signed my MEB package on Dec 11, 2024 and it was submitted to IPEB. IPEB found me unfit the next day Dec 12, 2024. The decision was then sent to the VA. VA received it sometime mid-January and my claim is now assigned to a team and an individual rater.

Damn the army and Air Force have it kind of backwards. I signed my NARSUM at the end of the MEB going into the IPEB. 1/14 Still waiting on them to find me unfit so that the VA can start rating my claims…. I’m hoping to be clearing post by the end of this month

They have it and are looking at it, if you keep track in the documents on TOL you can see when they request addendums and stuff. You'll probably get a few emails so you can know when they do ask for it. Also from what I learned is IF they schedule for another VA exam it does not affect anything. I have to attend another exam but I had received my DOD and VA rating right after I scheduled it. It just means the rater wants more info on a specific issue.

I wish. I can’t access TOL some kind of error. I’m kind of just left in the dark here waiting

If you're using a gov computer you have to go back and forth on the login until it let's you sign in with a CAC. Another thing is creating a username login and tying it to your .mil so you can just use your phone. Just make sure you enable desktop version in your phones browser so you can fully access it.

I can login but it says something like the demographic data doesn’t match so i can’t access the health record

Same old story unfortunately. I'm really hoping I see progress this week!
Same here, my claim's been with an individual rater since sometime last week, so based on other people's timelines, claim should close either this week or next. Fingers crossed.

Also lol, yeah saw that meme on reddit and also a lot of people judging people for calling VA weekly. Which isn't fair for us IDES folk, because we can't check our status on the app!

Also, in the IDES we are in a sort of limbo, especially at this point in the process. My contract was supposed to be up in a month, i could have already begun my terminal if I hadn't had all this MEB stuff pop up. Not to say im ungrateful for the potential benefit, but man it sucks staring your ETS in the face and knowing your going to pass it.

That’s actually really depressing

yea. I wish there was like, any form of recourse to try and push this along, but the process is the process and all I can do is laugh at it and try to not go any more crazy waiting
I wake up looking at the VA app and go to sleep looking at the VA app. I'm so ready for the chapter of my life to close, so that I can move on. The stagnation is painful.

We're all in this together and we should be seeing our claims closed soon enough though. Just a bit longer.

Are you working asking since you are passing your ETS.
Yep. Currently in a one deep position with no replacement lined up, won't be allowed to stop working unless my condition puts me back in a hospital or I get my VA rating and sign my 1168.

Edit: for context, my DOS was pushed on on a medhold to September of 2025.
