Are they still doing the FSS email? I signed my 618 on March 8th and my PEBLO submitted it but I never received an email notification from FSS. Anyone else experience this?

They are still doing the MyFSS emails. Mine came in a day after my PEBLO submitted my paperwork and had my PEBLO and commander CC'd. There have been others that haven't received either myFSS email for whatever reason. Possibly could be due to the wrong email being input. If there were no errors in your MEB documentation, then your case could already be "Pending DRAS" and waiting for the VA decision.

My peblo just told me 2 case managers at afpc were out last week so peoples cases should start moving faster this week.
I hope so. It’s been almost a month since my PEBLO submitted my 618 and I’ve heard nothing.

Did your email come yet? Im in the same boat.
Unfortunately no but I did eventually see the emails in my open myFss cases. It had the right email address listed so I’m not sure why I never received it.

I got my FSS email yesterday afternoon saying :

"A Document has been filed in your Personnel Record.
A new document has been placed in your Master Personnel Record Group (MPerRGp). You can view this document by accessing the Personnel Records Display Application (PRDA) through AFPC Secure or the Air Force Portal. Once you have accessed PRDA, click on the text “ENTIRE PERSONNEL RECORD” and the documents will appear in the window to the right with the most recent document on top."

But upon checking PRDA and talk to my CSS, We can't find any new documentation. My email also didn't cc anyone else, is this a different email?

I got the same email a few months ago. It was my signed EPB being uploaded.
If you're an E3/E4, this would be around the time your EPB would be uploaded. So that may be the document.

After you sign the 618, your PEBLO will send your package up to AFPC.

MyFSS will then send an email stating:

The Physical Evaluation Board Liaison Officer (PEBLO) at your base Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) sent your Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) package to the Air Force Personnel Center Physical Disability Operations Branch. The Physical Disability Operations team is reviewing your package to ensure the documentation is current and complete. Incomplete MEB packages are returned to your base PEBLO for correction as it is vital the information is accurate and current in order for the Informal Physical Evaluation Board (IPEB) to make a determination. Once it is verified your package is complete, Physical Disability Operations will transfer your completed package into a Disability Evaluation System (DES) case file for review by the IPEB.
Here are some key things to remember:
The PEBLO at your base MTF is your primary point of contact throughout the DES process.
It is your responsibility to contact the Airman and Family Readiness Center at your base to schedule pre-separation counseling at the earliest possible date following your entry into the Disability Evaluation System.
You have the right to Office of Disability Counsel (ODC) legal representation at no expense. The ODC may be contacted at DSN 665-0739 or (210) 565-0739 or Toll Free 1-855-632-5247 or [email protected]. In lieu of ODC representation, you may elect to seek counsel from a non-Air Force affiliated attorney at your own expense.
For additional information about the Air Force Disability Evaluation System, please review this article in MyPersKM/13006 or on the AFPC website.
