Hey everyone,

So I got the VA to email me my proposed ratings decision letter to me. My question is will it say if I’m P&T on there or will I only know if I’m P&T when my Peblo tells me my ratings?

Yes it will say that if they came to that conclusion. So if only 100% then there is something that isn't static. One or more ratings that make up 100% isn't static by the VA. Usually its mental health rating. My wife was 100% but not P&T. She got a letter 6 months after being medically retired that stated she was now P&T. So I wouldn't worry to much about the P&T part as the VA just wants to see if the condition is still the same 6 months or longer after you are out.

Oh okay , mine is mental health. Did she have to do a reevaluation?

yes and no. They reevaluated her but didn't have her come in for another appointment or anything. She continued treatment to include sessions with a therapist. After 6 months they looked at her records and determined her condition didn't change. So the main point is to continue treatment. I recommend with the VA directly because then they can see everything and may not need a scheduled appointment to determine if the condition is now static. It was really silly anyway. My wife's mental health struggles are due to having other chronic health conditions that won't change. So she already knew they would be the same since the underlining cause wasn't going to change.

Okay, thank you so much!
