retirement date hit June 30th still on step 5 after going through IDES what’s the expected time frame after retirement to Va claim to fully complete and received award letter ?

Review my timeline to get an idea. Titled "Fort Bliss MEB (Asthma)".
Usually it's within 30 days after your retirement date, did you ensure they had a copy of your DD214 prior to separation? You could call and ask. They already have everything done they should just need to verify it. Always amazes me it takes any time at all.
I did still step 5 after 45 days post retirement
Man, hope they get it figured out quick. My buddy who did a BDD claim his closed out 3 days after retirement. I'm hoping mine doesn't take too long either. Have you called and asked about it?
