I have about 34 conditions, My MEB was initiated by behavioral health. My major conditions really are on a prior TBI and ptsd. I’m not sure if these kinds of conditions take a while to rate.

Absolutely not, shouldn’t take too much time as those are more common, just curious if anyone was in my boat with a rare disease. It seems like the only things in common everyone in this thread has is size of claim and when our claims went to the VA.
I haven’t seen much of my condition labral repair with hip anthroscopy so basically hip surgery
A buddy at my unit had two of those on the same hip and he got out quick
Yea it’s so hard to come back from honestly there weren’t clear that recovery could take up to 2 years …

yeah they cut some extra stuff on my friend so he’s bound to cane and tried to do another to fix the first and it didn’t work out so well
Just got an email regarding my virtual VERA appointment being cancelled due to government shutdown.
Same my Appoinment got cancelled..this is actually starting to get me very anxious on how this is going to play out. I’ve been seeing other posts about PEBLOs being furloughed. I’ve been told by my IDES team that they will work through the shutdown, but I’m not sure what I’d do if my stuff were to just be in limbo with no PEBLO or update.
Yeah well, it doesn’t appear to be going well for any of us in this thread. It seems like everyone whose claim got to the VA in June - July is stuck indefinitely for some unknown odd reason that nobody knows why and we can’t talk to anybody to get any additional information. Also, don’t really even need PEBLO’s their job is just admin duties and counselings. I’d be far more worried if IPEB people were being laid off or VA workers which doesn’t seem to be happening.

I swear the only thing I’m still positive about is collecting a pay check for basically doing nothing now

I’d probably kill to be a fly on the wall during the VA’s like claim selection process lol “hmmm this one seems pretty easy, it’s only 4 days old and all these other big claims have 100+ days so I think I’ll start with the easy ones and call it a day.”
Well I spoke with my peblo today and she said that most of the people at the peb are furloughed or at home not working. So there is nobody there to receive or send packets even if they get something back from the VA. Has anybody heard something similar or if this is accurate?
That doesn’t quite make sense. I know in JBSA Texas most of the PEB people are military either paralegals or docs. They are considered healthcare. I haven’t particularly spoken to my PEBLO, but just the PEB function doesn’t make sense they would be furloughed.
If that was the case what’s the point of the VA even rating us if no one is gonna grab it. It’ll just bottleneck the system on the Army side too
got an update from VBA that I need to go for another C&P. All my C&P were completed in April for all my conditions, Found unfit on June 9th, got another message from VBA early in Aug that I needed to go complete CECS C&P which was completed on Aug 17th. Now they are asking for another C&P exam again but I don’t know for which condition yet.
