You still have a little ways to go. Here is my timeline:
24JUL12 - Referred to MEB
17AUG12 - did my NARSUM
17SEP12 - NARSUM finalized
21SEP12 - NARSUM came back from physicians review
28SEP12 - Reviewed NARSUM and signed it
28SEP12 - NARSUM went to Fort Lewis PEB
4NOV12 - Packet went from PEB to the VA with my UNFIT memo.
7NOV12 - VA had prepared a decision
14NOV12 - VA made their decision and sent the packet back to Fort Lewis to finalize.
Just waiting for the 199 to be done and I can sign it.
I am here at Fort Riley also.
 
Wow, 9 months and its just now being sent to PEB? My husband is at Fort Riley too. His Peblo was off all last week and wasn't there Monday so he went to another Peblo and asked what stage his packet is at. It was sent to the PEB Oct. 24th and been at the PEB since Nov. 1st, waiting for votes on fit or unfit. The Peblo said his is in a group of about 600 that are behind because of the system being down for 2 weeks. The suspense is killing me!
 
The way you can tell is to log into ebenefits to check the status. www.ebenefits.va.gov When you are registered there, then you can check the status of your claim. When the status changes from review of evidence to preparation for decision, that means that the PEB has made and unfit decision. In order for the package to go from the PEB to the VA, then there has to be an unfit memo.
 
My husband's ebenefits has been saying the samething, gathering evidence, evidence past due. I know he can't fully rely on ebenefits because for some people it isn't updated much. He might be one of the unlucky ones. On a good note, he still has a paycheck coming in so no complaints here.
 
My stuff didn't get to the VA for like a little over a month. Once it gets to the VA, the ebenefits will change. Mine changed as soon as it was received.
 
I got my proposed ratings on 28NOV12. 10% DOD and 30% VA
 
im still waiting for my proposed ratings...itll be a month this week since i was found unfit
 
My husband's packet is still waiting for the second vote on fit or unfit. Been at that point for over a month!
 
Well I am finally going to be signing my 199 tomorrow @ 1300. I am so excited. I am going to go on christmas block leave and come back to clear. What a great feeling.
 
Update -

10DEC12 - Received IPEB findings (cervical DDD, right ulnar neuropathy, anxiety disorder unfitting)


The memo itself was actually dated 05DEC12. That is 7 days from submission ! They are speeding up it seems.

I am still waiting for my name to go through PDA and after that will be orders.
 
When I worked in transition, we usually told SM a week to a month, because we just never really knew.

Is there a tracking system for the PDA / Transition / Orders process. Do you know who is the standard point of contact (phone number, Is it my PEBLO?...) to find out a status? Thanks

There is no real tracking for PDA. You can contact your local Transitions office and have them contact PDA.
