PDBR timeframe after decision

OK, so I've been told by several people that the process to get orders and all that after the PDBR decision has been made is up to 120 days. Some cases are faster than the 120 day threshold, but I'm at darn near 5 months post PDBR decision (granted 30%) and it's been absolute silence since I got my decision letter. I have reached out to PDBR in DC multiple times but have gotten absolutely nowhere. I have called the HRC and while they did provide contact numbers for people, I have not gotten any response from anyone I have reached out to via email or voice. I just want what I should have gotten 9 years ago and got screwed out of and the only thing in the way is simply paperwork? Really? Any assistance or direction would be appreciated.

I understand the frustration you are going through, as I just past the 120 mark to receive my orders after the PDBR hearing, and have yet to see them. However, this may not be entirely uncommon, as I my last duty station was at WRAMC, and they are notoriously slow to fix problems. This makes it more difficult for the people at PDRL, who are tasked with the PDBR cases to complete their assignments when the last duty station doesn't take pride in their work.

That said, I did speak with PDRL today, and 5 minutes into the call, while on hold 20 minutes later, someone got their arse handed to them at WRAMC. Now my orders are to be in the PDRL office by Tuesday next week, and all appears to be back on track.

cbweb - Don't give up on the people at PDRL. They are hard to contact, as they are very busy in that office. But, when you do reach them, be kind, and courteous to them. Explain your situation calmly, and the Chief, as well as the NCO their will assist you to get your issue fixed.

My PDBR decision to retroactively retire me was made last August! I have only received a letter from the SECNAV (last October) stating they notified DFAS. I contacted DFAS and they said they have requested required documents from the Navy in December and again this month. DFAS needs these documents before they can work my account...

Ask Retired Pay answer on January 18, 2013:
Dear Captain Brouillette:
In regards to your inquiry dated January 17, 2013, DFAS sent an 1st escalation to your branch of service on 12/5/2012 to request you DD 214, grade history and you DD 2656, The second escalation was placed with your branch on January 4,2013, Sir until the branch of service sends to DFAS the requested documents we have no information in which to build your pay account.

What # did you call for the PDRL?

What # did you call for the PDRL?
There is only one number for PDBR cases, at PDRL, besides calling the supervisor. If you have a PDBR case, your service HRC will give you the POC contact number.

I received my notification letter stating that I was being PDRL back May 2012. I did not receive my orders until October 16, 2012. I submitted my paperwork to Dfas, and was getting the run around from them even up until yesterday. I finally had to ask to speak to a supervisor in order to get all of my stuff situated. I was also told that DFAS was missing paperwork, but I was proactive and sent in everything that they were missing. You can access your DD214, your ERB, and military personnel file through the Ebenefits site, and just fax over that information to them
