Found Fit with Diabetes type 2
The Army Reserve found me fit for duty with no deployment, unless my Commander feels I can deploy. I just wanted to post this to encourage those who are on oral meds and want to remain in the Military.:D- 272752a

I have sumbmitted my documents to PEB Jan 3. Sent e-mail to Case Manger asking how long is the Process, and how will they notify me. No reply yet. I am type 2 diabetic on orals medications. Type I Previously found fit for duty
So if you are type 2 diabetic, then you can stay in? as long as your not on insulin?- 272752a

UNFIT / NOT RATED
The same thing happened to me. They accepted me with Diabetes type 2 on pills, with no waiver recommended.. Then a year later when I did my PHA they gave gave me a P3.
