Hello Jason, yes I am on blood thinner and will be for life. They say I can appeal but I wont be able to stay Infantry so why fight the discharge? I just want to keep my benefits with a medical discharge. We all earned them. Any help would be apprecieted even if to educate my state (S.C.)...

MY UNIT SAID AN (MEB) SAID I NEED TO SIGN MY DISCHARGE PAPER WORK AND THAT I DON'T QUALIFY FOR A MEDICAL RETIREMENT. I HAVE A 80% RATEING FROM THE VA AND 6 YEARS ACTIVE 2 YEARS M-DAY AND MY CONDITION IS AGGRAVATED BY SERVICE IN AFGHANISTAN. I DON'T THINK THEY ARE CORRECT. PLEASE HELP. THANKS...

I have been told by my unit that I have been seperated from the National Guard due to my 80% rateing which is for blood clots (aggravated by duty as gunner and driver in Afghanistan) and I will be on coumadane blood thinner for life.Still waiting to see if this will be a medical retirement have...
