I think it just means your case was sent to the PEB. Mine has said that since December and has never updated.

On the carrier both our legal officers were JAGs. So they were handling everything down to DRBs

Haha yeah. Most branches have nicknames for them. I've never actually heard anyone call them JAGs in the Navy, we always just call them Judge.

JAG is just short for Judge Advocate General. Every branch has JAG Corps.

Also that wouldn't apply since you get retirement at 80%, not Disability severance. You have to be less than 30% dod to get Disability severance

The "by the numbers percentage" has nothing to do with it because that's not a real calculation of anything. If you were to take away all the conditions included in that 80%, and rate only the remaining conditions, they would have to still put you at 100%

It's specific to medical separation pay. If your DOD% can be subtracted from your VA% and still leave you at 100%, then you can recieve both. They just exclude the VA% for those specific conditions so your are not being paid for the same thing twice. Alternately, if your DOD condition is...

Maybe a little longer then. There's a lot of other factors. I had about 30 conditions on my form, plus the timeframe you dbqs get submitted will have an effect as well. I wouldn't worry too much, you're still very close to the end of the process.

When was your 21-526EZ submitted? That's more likely to determine your VA completion timeframe.
