  • Jason,
Thank you for the information. I spoke with my PVA advocate and my PEBLO, it was same as the post below. I will take the findings and start my VA claim. I feel comfortable with all of the advice I have found on your sight and feedback from PVA and PEBLO.

Jason, one last request…I have been trying to find the Post I read on the forum regarding “REDUX” and being retired due to service connected disability. Can you guide me to it, please?

Lastly, thank you for this wonderful forum; I hope you know how much you help the service members understanding all of this jargon.

    Carmen,

Please read this post on what TDRL and stability means. http://www.pebforum.com/medical-evaluation-board/4873-board-san-antonio.html#post8478 . It is not that you won't recover, it means that you may change for rating purposes over 5 years.

Your conditions would typically warrant a TDRL finding. I would have been surprised had they not.

As far as whether you got a correct rating, it is very hard to say, though, that is the issue you should focus on.

    Best of luck with everything.
    Jason,
I was presented with my PEB findings two days ago. I need your advice...
I am over 20yrs active duty with the Navy. I have MS, RA, PTSD related cognitive disorder, and lastly Traumatice closed head injury.

I am being offered 70%, unfit. My confusion is that I am being placed on TDRL, not PDRL. The last time I checked with my Docs, MS and RA are a permanent disabiltiy. They stated in additional findings "The disabilitty may be permanent"...WTF. Please advice, am I missing something? MY PEBLO is going to look into this also??? Is this sentence making me TDRL? Why did the board find me at TDRL, over 20 with 2 permanent dasabilitating diagnosis. Thank you in advance. I have untill Dec 2 to accept or not.

Hello to all! I wanted to post an update on my situation...My PEB package was seent out over night delivery and posted as recieved 08 Sep 2. Here is the crazy thing, it was sent back yesterday for a missing signiture. My LIMDU coordinator sent it back out today with what they requested.
I am frustrated, and tired. I come to work every day with no time line of when I will be gone. I cant just retire, I feel that with MS, RA and PTSD it would be wise to be medically retired. What is the forums opinion?
