I appreciate all the direction everyone - I will keep you up to date on how things are going. I have my physical exam in July and my BH in September. So I am just gathering all the documents from external providers and then will seek out counsel once I have all my paperwork.
Ron,
I really appreciate you breaking this down for me.
I just got a call from my PEBLO and she said that I didn't need legal assistance - is that true?
Should I wait and get help if the TDRL hearing doesn't go my way?
Wow, I appreciate all the answers - although I think I have more questions than when I started.
To clarify, this is the Army conducting my reevaluation for my TDRL - I was 100% P&T through the VA from day 1.
I have a bunch of documentation but I am certain it will still go down as I am no...
Hey all,
I just got the notification that I will be having my re-evaluation for my two unstable conditions (PTSD 70% & Low Back 40%)
I had 17 years in and I am VA 100% P&T.
I currently receive CRCS in a sizable chunk.
Can the outcome of this Re-evaluation affect my VA or CRSC payments in...
Is anyone else in the process of waiting for their Formal PEB dates, or recently had one? Just wondering what the current timetable looks like from signing 199 requesting it and actually getting a date.
Thanks Sir,
I will definitely keep that in mind while I am filling it out. Did you end up getting approved? If so, what does it look like now 5 years later? Are there reevaluations to keep benefits?
I just received a Function Report in the mail that I am supposed to fill out which outlines how my disabilities affect my daily life. I was wondering if there was anything I should know prior to filling this out that may help my approval.
I know that "words matter" and I want to make sure I get...
No, this is a normal timeline. I actually believe it would have gone faster was it not for COVID. My paperwork was also sat on during several stages. I have seen them go much faster, and I have seen them go much slower. Everywhere from ~90 days - 3 years! Every case is different
Yes, sorry I...
I'm not there yet, but I would guess it's because they are about to release a whole bunch of people after this restriction lifts in a couple weeks. I assume they are trying to spread out movement over the next quarter to help alleviate the influx of cases. Just a guess.
Yes, it will be in the letter. But only the rating you receive from the VA will be on there. The rating that you will get from DOD will not. If that makes sense. if you want to find out the status of the letter you can always call the number that's on the VA website where you can check the...
No idea. The lawyer made it seem like it could take another 30 days or so. As far as the ratings go, the only way I know how is from the letter the VA sends out. Sometimes that will get there before you get your 199, but it will not have DOD ratings on it.
