i just want to make sure I understand this correctly... i just received my paperwork for hte 30K (just went over 15yrs) i have a pending IPEB recommendation. can i put in for the 30K and not have to pay it back with a Permanent Disability Retirement?

I received a 40% with PDR - worth about $30K /year(~$2500/month). I am expecting a VA rating of at least 60% - which, according to the charts I looked at is $1264/month (married with 4 kids under 18) SO, what is my ballpark monthly compensation? how much is taxed? Thanks in advance -hoops
