Dude its BS. I spoke to my Army "attorney" this morning and they said you can choose between the two but you can only select IDES. My lawyer did say there is a chance my rating could change, but she has never seen it happen.

Since you were 100% P&T going into the IDES did the VA reevaluate you? Or did they just go over the last evaluation they did and accept that?

I am in the same EXACT boat man. I have to sign my couseling soon. Did you find anything new? Did you go through with the IDES?

So my LOD got approved today and I did my counseling with my awesome LTC. I chose IDES like a lot of you reccomended. I am a reservist with extensive combat and deployment experience. I am getting chaptered for my right shoulder that I have had 4x surgeries on and currently have a 30% VA rating...

I submitted my claim 4/20/18 for my foot and neck (I have an LOD for both of them). My est. completion date was 7/20/18 and goes to preparation for decision. Then it goes to 1/30/19 then 5/20/19 and now 4/15/20 WTF!!! I havn't received anything asking for an appoint nor request for more...
