I have submitted a claim to the pdbr in late 2013 and haven't heard anything since they accepted the claim. Since then I have lost all information as to my claim since my home caught a fire. How do I go about to get info of my status when I file they say it could take up to 2.5 yrs.
@fowler i requested taxes back they sent me a denial letter stating that my VA code and separation codes don't match so they claim it is taxable. Wtbs is this severance pay be recouped or not.
So does that mean I can't get the taxes back because the codes are different. So do I need to file taxes I receive ssd so I'm not gainful employed to file taxes.
Thanks for information. I have an issue now with the taxes portion. I sent them my sin clair letter along with VA award letter and discharge papers with a reply that the codes are not matching and I want be eligible for taxes back. What am I to do? I know they were different that's why I filed...
Just last month someone from npc by the name of Mrs Butler just emailed me a copy of a separation letter I never rreceived a physical copy via mail nor did I recieved the severance and now having difficulty reaching her I have the email letter
Well the pen people told me that since I was tdrl when I was discharged in dec04. That I wouldn't be eligible to file a claim for pdbr. But I was removed from tdrl to separation without any benefits with a rating of 10% severance pay in 2008. I am in disbelief here. Something is terribly wrong here.
I have lost all contact info I had to reach them dealing with tdrl. When I call the customer service # they claim a supervisor will contact me back and hasnt . called again its the same thing. Lastly in early November I chatted with a Mrs. Burton whom was to email me the copy of the separation...
Congrats!!! I stumbled across this page looking for help. Well I was rated the same as you for the same illness in 2004 via VA for lupus and 60% tdrl and supposedly 10 % severance separation in 2008. I was wondering if I am eligible to file a claim for pdbr
